San Estévan del Rey Mission Church is a Spanish mission church in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gallup on the Acoma Pueblo Reservation in western New Mexico. Built between 1629 and 1641, it is one of the finest extant examples of hybrid Spanish Colonial and Puebloan architectural styles. It was named for Saint Stephen I of Hungary. The church was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1970, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It remains a mission church and is part of the parish of San José de la Laguna in Laguna, New Mexico.

The parish's first rectory, which is now a private home, is also listed on the National Register as St. Mary's Rectory. It is located a few blocks to the east of the present church location at 610 E. The parish is the result of a merger between Saints Mary and Joseph Parish and Sacred Heart Parish in the city of Fort Madison, Iowa, United States. It maintains both of the former parish church buildings as worship sites. The oldest parish in town, St. Joseph, and St. Mary of the Assumption had merged in the 1990s. St. Mary of the Assumption Church, which became Saints Mary and Joseph, is located at 11th Street and Avenue E. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Sacred Heart Church is located at 23rd Street and Ave I.

It is the seat of the Diocese of Saginaw. In 1979 it was included as a contributing property in the Saginaw Central City Historic Residential District on the National Register of Historic Places.
St. Joseph Catholic Church is a parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Chicago. The church is located in Wilmette, Illinois, United States, at the corner of Lake Ave and Ridge Road. It is listed on the Wilmette Register of Historic Properties and on the National Register of Historic Places.. Although St. Joseph's Mission was founded in 1842, it wasn't recognized as a parish until 1845 by Chicago's first Catholic bishop, William Quarter to serve German Catholic immigrants from Trier, Germany. The first assigned priest and pastor was Father G.H. Plathe in 1845, who was followed by Fr. Johann Fortmann in 1847. In May of 1852, Fr. Fortmann was appointed to begin St. Henry's Catholic Church, which was placed at the halfway point between St. Joseph's Wilmette, and downtown Chicago where the diocese was based. The removal of the beloved Fr. Fortmann caused a lot of turmoil in the isolated parish. Before the end of 1852, the diocese reverted St. Joseph's "Parish" back to a "Mission" for several months, due to the inability of getting a priest to go there.

Within the diocese it is known as Saint Stan's. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 as Church of St. Stanislaus–Catholic. Sacred Heart Church, or Historic Sacred Heart Church, is an unoccupied church located at or around 16th St and Buckeye Roads in Phoenix, AZ, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the US Department of Interior with the efforts of the Braun Sacred Heart Center Inc., City of Phoenix Historic Preservation Office, and the State Historic Preservation Office in 2012. The lot the Sacred Heart Church sits on is owned by the City of Phoenix, Aviation Department. Sacred Heart Church was the pillar of the Golden Gate Barrio, and the Braun Sacred Heart Center Inc. has been hosting a yearly Christmas Day Mass at noon for former residents since 1987, with the permission of the City of Phoenix. On May 19, 2021, the Diocese of Phoenix published a press release announcing that the Sacred Heart Parish had signed a lease agreement with the City of Phoenix for use of the Church property after selling the property to the City of Phoenix over three decades prior.

Created in 1989 by American Franciscan friar Robert Lentz, the 8-foot (2.4 m) icon is displayed in the altar of the St. Joseph Apache Mission Church, a Catholic church in the U.S. state of New Mexico with parishioners who are mostly Mescalero Apache. In the painting, Jesus is depicted atop Sierra Blanca, a New Mexico mountain range, greeting the rising sun after performing a sacred puberty ritual.
