Summit Lake is located east of Cameron Lake in Waterton Lakes National Park Alberta, Canada along the Alderson-Carthew trail. [1] It lies in the pass between Mount Carthew [2] and Mount Custer.

Elk Lakes Provincial Park is a provincial park in southeastern British Columbia, Canada, located west of the continental divide. It is located adjacent to Height of the Rockies Provincial Park and is about 104 kilometers north of Sparwood. The park features sub-alpine landscapes, remnant glaciers, rugged peaks and productive lakes. Much of the park is above treeline and features several prominent mountains including Mount Fox, Mount Aosta, Mount McCuaig, and Mount Elkan. The Petain, Castelnau, Nivelle, and Elk Glaciers lie on the northeastern edge of the park. The following lakes are also present inside park boundaries: Upper and Lower Elk Lake, Frozen Lake, Fox Lake, Cadorna Lake, and Abruzzi Lake. Below the treeline, the park features mature growth forests of alpine fir, Engelmann spruce, and lodgepole pine. These trees are also intermingled with juniper, twinberry, false azalea, white rhododendron, and buffalo berry. The wildlife of the area includes Beaver, Snowshoe Hare, Red Squirrel, white-tailed deer, moose, and many varieties of birds.
Hai Lake–Mount Herman Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada. Established in 2004, it is 323 ha. and protects regionally significant bog ecosystems and old-growth forests. The park caters to outdoor pursuits such as day hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting.
Abbot Pass lies between Mount Lefroy and Mount Victoria, in the divide between the valleys of Lake O'Hara and Lake Louise. It was named for Philip Stanley Abbot who died in 1896 in an attempt to climb Mount Lefroy with Charles Fay, Charles Thompson, and George T. Little.
The southern ningaui is a tiny marsupial carnivore belonging to the Dasyuridae family. Similar in appearance to Ningaui ridei, found throughout central Australia, this species occurs in spinifex on semi-arid sandplains across the southern coast of the continent. The fur is a tawny or greyish olive colour, light grey below, and distinguished by shades of cinnamon. The southern ningaui prefers smaller prey, including insects and spiders, but capable of killing and consuming larger animals such as cockroaches and skinks. Their narrow muzzle is used with quick and fierce bites about the head to despatch their meal. The species was first described in 1983, and placed within the genus Ningaui.
Gråsjøen is a lake/reservoir in the municipality of Surnadal in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The lake is located in the northern part of the Trollheimen mountain range. The lake is dammed and the water is used in the Gråsjø power station. The water flows out of the lake and into the lake Foldsjøen. Mount Snota lies just south of the lake.
Mount Defiance is an 840 ft (260 m) high hill on the New York side of Lake Champlain, in the northeastern United States. Mount Marshall is a mountain located in Essex County, New York. Mount Regan, rises 10,190 feet (3,110 m) above sea level, and is a peak in the Sawtooth Range of Idaho. The peak is located in the Sawtooth Wilderness of Sawtooth National Recreation Area on the border of Boise and Custer counties. The peak is located 1.9 mi (3.1 km) west of Merritt Peak, its line parent. The peak is named after Timothy Regan, a pioneer who lived in Silver City, and then Boise. Mount Regan is located at the southern end of Sawtooth Lake. The Trailer Lakes and Regan Lake are located northwest of the peak, and the Trail Creek Lakes are west of the peak.
