The West Midlands Metro is a light-rail/tram system in the county of West Midlands, England. The network has 33 stops with a total of 14.9 miles (24.0 km) of track; it currently consists of a single route, Line 1, which operates between the cities of Birmingham and Wolverhampton via the towns of Bilston, West Bromwich and Wednesbury, on a mixture of former railway lines and urban on-street running. The system is owned by the public body Transport for West Midlands, and operated by Midland Metro Limited, a company wholly owned by the West Midlands Combined Authority.
Wednesbury is a market town in the Sandwell district, in the county of the West Midlands, England - historically in Staffordshire. It is located near the source of the River Tame, and is part of the Black Country. Wednesbury is situated 5 miles (8km) south-east of Wolverhampton, 3 miles (4.4km) south-west of Walsall, and 7 miles (11.8km) north-west of Birmingham. Black Lake tram stop is a tram stop in the Black Lake area of West Bromwich in the West Midlands, England. It is on the West Midlands Metro that links Edgbaston with Wolverhampton and was opened on 31 May 1999. It has park and ride facilities. The stop is near to the site of the former Swan Village railway station, which closed in 1972. The railway station was on the opposite side of the level crossing and was the junction of the line through Great Bridge and on to Dudley via the former South Staffordshire Line. The latter is in the process of partly reopening as a Metro line between Wednesbury and Dudley (with planned extension to the Merry Hill Shopping Centre.

Stourbridge Interchange is a bus station in Stourbridge, England, on the site of an earlier bus station. The bus station site partly occupies the location of the original Stourbridge railway station which was demolished in 1979. Until 1967 the railway line continued to Stourbridge Canal Basin when this section of the line was closed and subsequently lifted. The original bus station used until 1979 exists as a car park next to the Interchange.
