West Bromwich bus station is a bus interchange in the town of West Bromwich in the West Midlands of England.
It is managed by Transport for West Midlands. Local bus services operated by various bus companies serve the bus station which has 24 departure stands. [1] The West Bromwich Central tram stop on the West Midlands Metro is across the road from the bus station.
It opened in the spring of 2002 to replace the previous station, which had served the town for some 30 years, at a nearby location which was later developed as The Public arts centre.
The station features a mosaic artwork, Anamorphic Portico, by local sculptor Steve Field, which makes use of anamorphic columns and includes images loosely derived from David Christie Murray's book A Capful o’ Nails. [2] [3] An old Bundy clock is also displayed on the concourse.

West Bromwich, commonly known as West Brom, is a market town in the borough of Sandwell, in the county of the West Midlands, England. Historically part of Staffordshire, it is 7 miles northwest of Birmingham. West Bromwich is part of the area known as the Black Country, in terms of geography, cultures and dialect. West Bromwich had a population of 103,112 in the 2021 Census.
Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) is the public body responsible for co-ordinating transport services in the West Midlands metropolitan county in England. Smethwick Galton Bridge is a split-level railway station in Smethwick, West Midlands, England. It is at a point where two railways' lines cross on two levels. It has platforms on both lines, allowing interchange between them. Stourbridge Interchange is a bus station in Stourbridge, England, on the site of an earlier bus station. The bus station site partly occupies the location of the original Stourbridge railway station which was demolished in 1979. Until 1967 the railway line continued to Stourbridge Canal Basin when this section of the line was closed and subsequently lifted. The original bus station used until 1979 exists as a car park next to the Interchange.
