White Rhino is an Indian brewery located in Malanpur, on the outskirts of Gwalior, India. It is the first craft beer to be brewed and bottled in India. [2] Ishaan Puri is the founder of White Rhino Brewing Co.

History

White Rhino Brewing Co. was founded by Ishaan Puri in 2016 in Malanpur, near a tributary of the Chambal River, which supplies the brewery with brew-quality water. [3] [2] The brewery began with two beers, a Lager and a Belgian Style Wit. [2]

In 2018, White Rhino partnered with a West Yorkshire-based British beer distribution firm, James Clay, to export its lager and India pale ale to the United Kingdom. [4]

Wellington Brewery

Wellington Brewery is a brewery in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. It was established in 1985 and was one of the first North American breweries to revive the ancient technique of brewing cask-conditioned cask ale. Phil Gosling was the founder. By 2011, the volume of sales required the company to expand its brewing capacity. Two new 150HL tanks were installed. In January 2013, four more tanks were installed to keep up with demand for Wellington products. In 2015, the company's facility was expanded with a 12,000-square-foot addition, including a 40-hectolitre brew house and new packaging line. At that time, the company employed a staff of 45. The company also has a distribution warehouse in Toronto.

Bira 91 is an Indian craft beer brand manufactured by B9 Beverages Pvt. Ltd., launched in 2015. The company's first brewery unit was located in Flanders region of Belgium where a craft distillery was used to contract manufacture the beer with ingredients from France, Belgium, Himalayas and Bavarian Farms and the beer was imported to India. After initial success, the company thereafter began manufacturing the beer in India with the same ingredients. Made from wheat, barley and hops, the beer is available in draft, 330ml, 650ml bottles and 500ml cans.
