Denison is a city that is part of Denison Township and East Boyer Township in Crawford County, Iowa, United States, along the Boyer River. The population was 8,298 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Crawford County.

The Old Richmond Historic District is a neighborhood of historic residential and commercial buildings and national historic district located at Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. The district encompasses 212 contributing buildings located just east of the East Fork of the Whitewater River, comprising some of the earliest extant buildings in Richmond. It developed between about 1816 and 1925 and includes representative examples of Greek Revival, Italianate, and Gothic Revival style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Bethel A.M.E. Church. Other notable contributing buildings include the William Paul Quinn House, Elijah Coffin House (1845-1847), Henry Davis House (1856), Rankempf Cottage (1855), Hall Town House (1838), Edward Frauman House (1855), and Lydia Pierce Cottage (1858).

The John T. and Marietta Carey House is a historic residence located in Denison, Iowa, United States. The house is associated with John Carey, who served for six years as Denison's mayor. During that time the city's sewer system was put in, street signs were put up, preparations were made for mail delivery, the Carnegie Library and the courthouse were built, a telephone exchange was installed and the city more than doubled in size. President Theodore Roosevelt and Treasury Secretary L. M. Shaw, a former Iowa governor, visited Denison when Carey was mayor. He also served in county government. Marietta (Greek) Carey was the daughter of early pioneers to the county, and she was one of the first people born in the county. The two-story, frame, Queen-Anne style house was built in 1893. It is a mail-order house from the George F. Barber & Co. in Knoxville, Tennessee. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Pequotsepos Manor, known formally as Denison Homestead, is a historic house museum at 120 Pequotsepos Road in the Stonington part of Mystic, Connecticut. The house was built in 1717, and stands on land that has been in continuous ownership of the Denison family since 1654. It is now owned and operated by the family-run Denison Society, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 15, 1979.

Denison House, also known as the Colonel Nathan Denison House, is a historic home located at Forty Fort, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1790, and is a 2 1/2-story, frame building with a central chimney in the New England style. A rear addition and full-width front porch were added in the mid-19th century. The house has since been restored to its appearance in the 1790s.
