Kaifu District is one of six urban districts of Changsha, the capital of Hunan province, China. The district is bordered by Furong and Tianxin Districts to the south, Changsha County to the east and northeast, Wangcheng District to the north, Yuelu and Wangcheng Districts across the Xiang river to the west. Located in the central Changsha, Kaifu covers 188.73 km2 (72.87 sq mi) with population of 595,000, registered population of 452,168. The district has 16 subdistricts under its jurisdiction, the government seat is at Furongbeilu subdistrict.

Located in the western region of the city proper and on the northwestern shoreside of the Xiang River, the district is bordered to the north by Yuelu District of Changsha City, to the east by Tianxin District of Changsha City and Yuetang District, to the south by Xiangtan County, to the west by Ningxiang County. Yuhu District covers 451.39 km2 (174.28 sq mi), as of 2015, it had a registered population of 520,477 and resident a population of 667,000. The district has 12 subdistricts, 3 towns and 2 townships under its jurisdiction, the government seat is at Yuhulu Subdistrict (雨湖路街道).

Batang Town is a rural town in Ningxiang City, Hunan Province, China. It is surrounded by Zifu on the west, Huilongpu Town and Baimaqiao Subdistrict on the north, Xiaduopu Town on the east, and Nantianping Township on the south. As of the 2007 census it had a population of 70,000 and an area of 163.7 square kilometres (63.2 sq mi). Nantianping township merged to Batang town on November 19, 2015.
Shuangjiangkou Town is a rural town in Ningxiang City, Hunan Province, China. It is surrounded by Chengjiao Subdistrict and Jinghuapu Township on the west, Jinzhou Town and Lijingpu Subdistrict on the southeast, Zhuliangqiao Township, Gaotangling and Jinggang subdistricts of Wangcheng District on the northeast, and Henglongqiao Town on the northwest. As of the 2000 census it had a population of 82,000 and an area of 155 square kilometres (60 sq mi).

It is located on the center of West Wangcheng, the subdistrict is bordered by Gaotangling and Wushan Subdistricts to the north, Bairuopu town to the west, Leifeng Subdistrict to the south, Baishazhou subdistrict to the east. Huangjinyuan has an area of 27.57 km2 (10.64 sq mi) with a population of 15,000. the subdistrict has 3 villages under its jurisdiction.
Changsha High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is a national high-tech industrial zone in Changsha City, Hunan Province, China. It is the original Changsha Technology Development Experimental Zone founded in July, 1988. It was renamed to the present name, meanwhile the zone was upgraded to one of first batch of national HTZs In March 1991, and became a national innovative technology pilot zone approved by the Ministry of Science & Technology in 2009. Its core area is situated in the west of Changsha on the west shore of the Xiang River, and the north side of Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area.

It is the original Jinzhou New Urban Area Industrial Concentration District created in 2006; it is usually referred to as "Jinzhou New Urban Area" for short. It was approved to an industrial district at province level in 2012, and it was upgraded to a hi-tech industrial park at province-level on 26 May, 2015. Its core area is in Jinzhou Town, the industrial park is a part of the core zone of Xiangjiang New Area. It has a planned area of 65 square kilometres (25 sq mi), as of 2015 it also has a builtup area of 13 square kilometres (5.0 sq mi).
Yanghu Wetland Park is a public wetland park in China, located at the western Changsha, Hunan. Covering an area of 0.53-square-kilometre (0.20 sq mi), the park was established in 2010 and opened to the public in 2011. Located in the subdistrict of Yanghu, Yuelu District, Yanghu Wetland Park is bordered by Jin River on the South and east, South Xiaoxiang Avenue on the West, and Yanghu Avenue on the North.
