Aberdeen International Airport is an international airport, located in the Dyce suburb of Aberdeen, Scotland, approximately 5 nautical miles northwest of Aberdeen city centre. A total of just under 3.1 million passengers used the airport in 2017, an increase of 4.6% compared with 2016.
Sumburgh Airport is the main airport serving Shetland in Scotland. It is located on the southern tip of the mainland, in the parish of Dunrossness, 17 NM south of Lerwick. The airport is owned by Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL) and served by Loganair.
Chinook helicopter crash may refer to:
On 6 November 1986, a Boeing-Vertol Model 234LR Chinook helicopter returning workers from the Brent oilfield crashed on approach to land at Sumburgh Airport in the Shetland Islands. At 2.5 mi (4.0 km) from the runway the helicopter had a catastrophic forward transmission failure which caused the tandem rotor blades to collide. The helicopter crashed into the sea and sank. Forty-three passengers and two crew members were killed in the crash; one passenger and one crew member survived with injuries.

Hayley Mulheron is a Scottish netball player and former captain of the Scotland national team who plays in the positions of goal keeper or goal defense. She currently plays for the Scottish club Sirens Netball and has previously played for few clubs including Glasgow Wildcats, Team Northumbria, Greater Western Sydney Fury and Canberra Darters. Hayley has featured in three World Cup tournaments for Scotland in 2007, 2015 and in 2019. She is also the second most capped and experienced player to represent Scotland in international arena with over 100 caps.
