The 2005 United States elections were held on Tuesday, November 8. During this off-year election, the only seats up for election in the United States Congress were special elections held throughout the year. None of these congressional seats changed party hands. There were also two gubernatorial races, state legislative elections in two states, numerous citizen initiatives, mayoral races in several major cities, and a variety of local offices on the ballot.

All 62 members of the Wyoming House of Representatives were elected on November 8, 2022, as part of the 2022 Wyoming elections. Primary elections were held on August 16. Republicans expanded their supermajority, gaining six seats.
The 2024 elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives will be held on November 5, 2024, with all districts up for election. The term of office for those elected in 2024 will begin when the House of Representatives convenes in January 2025. Pennsylvania State Representatives are elected for two-year terms, with all 203 seats up for election every two years. The primary elections to choose the respective parties' nominees took place on April 23.
