The 17th Annual Petit Le Mans presented by Mazda was the 2014 edition of the Petit Le Mans automotive endurance race, held on October 3, 2014, at the Road Atlanta circuit in Braselton, Georgia, United States. [1] This marked the first Petit Le Mans run under the newly merged Tudor United Sportscar Championship. As part of the new series, Daytona Prototype endurance-style cars were eligible to participate for the first time.
The race was won by Wayne Taylor Racing in 10 hours (400 laps). A record number of 13 cautions was set for the event. [2]
International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) president Scott Atherton confirmed that the race was part of the 2014 United SportsCar Championship schedule in September 2013. [3] It was the first year that the race was part of the series calendar, and the seventeenth annual running of the race. The race was the last of 2014's thirteen scheduled IMSA automobile endurance races, and the last of four North American Endurance Cup (NAEC) events. [3] It was held at the 12-turn, 2.540-mile (4.088 km) Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia on October 3, 2014. [3]

Road Atlanta is a 2.540 mi (4.088 km) road course located just north of Braselton, Georgia, United States. The facility is utilized for a wide variety of events, including professional and amateur sports car and motorcycle races, racing and driving schools, corporate programs and testing for motorsports teams. The track has 12 turns, including the famous "esses" between turns three and five; and Turn 12, a downhill, diving turn. The track is owned by IMSA Holdings, LLC through its subsidiary Road Atlanta, LLC, and is the home to the Petit Le Mans, as well as AMA motorcycle racing, and smaller events throughout the year. Michelin acquired naming rights to the facility in 2018.

Originally scheduled to run for 10 hours, the race was concluded after 8 hours were completed due to heavy rain, darkness, visibility, and hydroplaning. This marked the first time in the event's history that a GT car won overall.

The race was won overall by the #31 Whelen Engineering Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R after its sister car fell out with brake failure with less than 30 minutes remaining. The distance covered was a race record.

The race was won overall by the #10 Konica Minolta Cadillac Cadillac DPi-V.R after the #7 Acura Team Penske and #31 Whelen Engineering Racing entries made contact and spun out in the closing minutes of the race.

The 2023 24 Hours of Daytona was an endurance sports car race sanctioned by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). The event was held at Daytona International Speedway combined road course in Daytona Beach, Florida, on January 28–29, 2023. This event was the 61st running of the 24 Hours of Daytona since its inception in 1962, and the first of 11 races across multiple classes in the 2023 IMSA SportsCar Championship, as well as the first of four rounds in the 2023 Michelin Endurance Cup. The No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura, driven by Tom Blomqvist, Colin Braun, Hélio Castroneves and Simon Pagenaud, took the overall win, but the team was later penalized for tire pressure data manipulation, resulting in penalties, fines and probation for those responsible. This was Meyer Shank's second Rolex 24 win in a row, and their third major endurance race win in four events. The No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura finished second overall and scored the most points towards the GTP championship.
