Nesamony Memorial Christian College is an institution of arts and science in Marthandam, the second busiest town in Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India. The college was run by Kanyakumari Diocese of the Church of South India. Dibrugarh University is a collegiate public state university in the Indian state of Assam. It is located at Dibrugarh, Assam, India. It is the second oldest University in Assam and in the North East. It was set up on 1 July 1965 under the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965 enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. The University was established to build it as a Center of Science and Technology. As the University was planned as a centre of higher education in science and technology, Bhoj Raj Seth, an eminent mathematician of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, was appointed as the first Vice-Chancellor at the initiative of the then Education Minister of Assam, Dev Kant Barooah.

Lady Doak College (LDC) is the first women's college in Madurai in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It was founded in 1948 by Katie Wilcox, an American missionary near Tallakulam in Madurai. Today there are around 3200 students. This number was only 86 at formation. It is named after Helen Doak, the associate founder. The motto of the college consists of three Latin words, 'Semper pro Veritate' and its meaning is "Always for the truth". The college celebrated its 75th anniversary on 14 July 2023.
