Stone Street Baptist Church is a historic African-American Baptist church in Mobile, Alabama. The congregation was established well before the American Civil War, with Stone Street Baptist recognized today as one of Alabama's most influential African-American Baptist churches. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 8, 1985.
The First Baptist Church is an historic American Baptist church located at 164 South Cherry Street in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York. It was built between 1875 and 1877, and consists of a rectangular main church section, front entry pavilion, and tall rectangular bell tower. The brick building features Gothic arched openings and stone tracery.
St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church is a former parish church of the Archdiocese of Dubuque located in Stone City, Iowa, United States. Catholics in Stone City were initially served by priests from Cedar Rapids and Anamosa. Mass was celebrated in parishioner's homes until 1881 when permission was granted to use a large hall in Stone City. The parish was established in 1901 and the cornerstone for the church building was laid in 1913. It was completed later the same year. The church was designed by Dubuque, Iowa architect Guido Beck. The stained glass windows of the church were imported from Germany. The limestone used for the building was donated by city quarries. Otto Braun served as the contractor, and the labor to construct the church was also donated by local quarry businesses. The lower level of the building houses the parish hall. The rear of the church can be seen anchoring the left side of Grant Wood's painting Stone City (1930). The parish started to lose parishioners in the 1920s when the stone quarries started to decline. Its size increased again in the 1950s before economic factors once again caused it to decline. The archdiocese closed the parish in 1992, and church building became an oratory.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The church and the rectory were listed together on the Davenport Register of Historic Properties in 1999. After serving as the location of a Reformed Baptist congregation and a private elementary school named Marquette Academy, the parish property now houses a fundamentalist Christian ministry named One Eighty.

The former Swedish Baptist Church is a historic building located on the east side of Davenport, Iowa, United States. The congregation was organized in 1883 in the city's Swedish neighborhood and included about 50 people. The building was originally a Presbyterian Church and was moved here from its original location at Eleventh and Scott Streets. In the 1920s it became Second Baptist Church and by the 1930s it was renamed Grand Avenue Baptist Church. The building subsequently housed other denominations, including the Mennonites, and now houses Kingdom Generation Church.

It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 as a part of the County Courthouses in Iowa Thematic Resource. In 1986 it was included as a contributing property in the Oskaloosa City Square Commercial Historic District. The courthouse is the second building the county has used for court functions and county administration.

The Big Run Baptist Church and Cemetery, also known as Franklin Township Historical Society, is a historic Baptist church and cemetery located at 6510 South Franklin Road in Franklin Township, Marion County, Indiana. The church was built in 1871 as a Baptist meeting house and served the church congregation until 1977. It is a one-story, gable front brick building with Italianate style design elements. The associated cemetery was established in 1854, with one stone dated to 1841. The most recent burial was in 1986. Also on the property is a contributing privy constructed about 1920. The Franklin Township Historical Society acquired the property and now uses the building as a historical museum.
The First Congregational Church, also known as Sioux City Baptist Church and most recently as Iglesia Pentecostes Evangelica Principe de Paz, is a house of worship located in Sioux City, Iowa, United States. An architectural rarity, it is one of a small group of churches in the Prairie School style of architecture. Designed primarily in the Prairie style with some eclectic touches by architect William L. Steele, its horizontal lines are emphasized by Roman brick and crisp rectilinear forms. Somewhat at variance are the distinctive dome and the prominent round heads on the windows.
Mars Hill is a historic church building and cemetery located near Ottumwa, Iowa, United States. Barbara Clark donated the property to the Baptist Church and the church building was built between 1850 and 1857. The rectangular structure is composed of dovetail notched hewn logs, and it is capped with a gable roof. The front door is a copy of the original. It is thought that its name comes from its location, but that cannot be substantiated. Local lore has it that the church building served as a stop on the Underground Railroad. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The Sciola Post Office was established in 1855, and was the first one established in Montgomery County. The village was composed of a few stores, the church, and the post office.

Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, also known as Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, is a historic building located in Waterloo, Iowa, United States. The congregation that built this building was organized in 1861 as First Methodist Episcopal Church. They built church buildings in 1865 at Lafayette and East Fifth Streets, and then at East Fourth and Mulberry Streets in 1877. They changed their name to Grace in 1895. They completed this building at Walnut and East Fifth Streets in 1913. The brick, Neoclassical structure designed by Turnbill & Jones features a large central dome and a large classical portico with six Ionic columns. Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church acquired the building from Grace United Methodist in 1996. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.
The former Second Baptist Church is a historic building located in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, United States. The First Colored Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, later Second Baptist Church, was founded in the summer of 1863 by members of First Baptist Church for the education and worship of the community's African American population. The congregation is also referred to as the "African Baptist Church". It is possible that this building was the original Methodist Episcopal church building constructed in 1843. It is believed that it was moved here in 1856 or 1857 for a newly established congregation of the Methodist Protestant Church. Either that or the main part of this small frame church was built here at that time. Regardless, the Methodist Protestant congregation did not succeed and the property was sold to First Baptist Church in January 1864 for use by the "Colored Baptist Church."
Union Bakery is a historic building located in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. The first section of the building was built along Market Street around 1862, and an addition was built on the north side in 1893. The building reflects the entrepreneurial nature of Iowa City's German community who founded the bakery and built the original part of the building. The three-story brick building is essentially a vernacular structure with elements of the Greek Revival style. Those elements include the raised foundation and stone water table, the pilasters with flat capitals and the belt course on the first-floor, stone lintels, and the "mousetooth" detail at the roofline that possibly references dentils. The ovens for the bakery were located in the basement and the retail portion of the business was located in the storefront along Linn Street. Other uses for the building have been a hotel, cafe, and a bar. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.
