The Crimson Tide Sports Network (sometimes stylized as the CTSN) is the radio and television network of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide men's and women's sports teams. It consists of four television stations, two regional cable networks, and several radio stations throughout the state of Alabama, some of which serves small parts of surrounding states. [1] This organization's headquarters are located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
It is operated through a joint venture between IMG College and Learfield Communications. [2]

Nicholas Lou Saban Jr. is an American sportscaster and former professional and college football coach. He serves as an analyst for ESPN's College GameDay, a television program covering college football. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest college football coaches of all time. Saban served as head coach of the National Football League (NFL)'s Miami Dolphins and at four universities: Louisiana State University (LSU), Michigan State University, the University of Toledo and most famously the University of Alabama, where he last coached from 2007 to 2023.
Phillip Savage Jr. is an American football executive, author and media personality, who currently serves as the Senior Football Advisor for the New York Jets. In 2019 he was the general manager for the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football (AAF). He was the senior vice president and general manager of the Browns from 2005 to 2008. He served as director of player personnel for the Baltimore Ravens under general manager Ozzie Newsome, a former Browns' player and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, from 2003 to 2004. He was a scout for the Browns from 1993 to 1995. He was also the former general manager of the Cleveland Browns and the executive director for the Senior Bowl.Phil Savage also served as the color announcer for The Alabama Crimson Tide alongside Eli Gold for several years with the Crimson Tide Sports Network, and worked as a guest host, for Sirius XM Sports Radio for several years, before joining the NY Jets. Phil Savage was also on ESPN for several years as a guest host.
Elias Leo Gold is an American sportscaster. Gold is best known as the former radio voice for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, along with Tom Roberts, as part of the Crimson Tide Sports Network from 1988-2024. He also currently calls college football and NFL games for Sports USA Radio Network. Gold's former jobs include hosting NASCAR Live on the Motor Racing Network and calling play-by-play for Arena Football League's coverage on TNN and NBC.

The Alabama Crimson Tide football program represents the University of Alabama in the sport of American football. The team competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The team is currently led by Kalen DeBoer. The Crimson Tide is among the most storied and decorated football programs in NCAA history. Since beginning play in 1892, the program claims 18 national championships, including 13 wire-service national titles in the poll-era, and five other titles before the poll-era. From 1958 to 1982, the team was led by Hall of Fame coach Paul "Bear" Bryant, who won six national titles with the program. Alabama then had a dominant run under head coach Nick Saban between 2007 and 2023, resulting in six further national titles.
The Alabama–LSU football rivalry, also known as the "First Saturday in November" and the "Saban Bowl", is an American college football rivalry between the Alabama Crimson Tide football team of the University of Alabama and the LSU Tigers football team of Louisiana State University. Both schools are charter members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), and both universities' sports teams have competed in the SEC's West Division since the conference was split into two divisions in 1992.

The Bobby Bowden National Collegiate Coach of the Year Award was a college football award given annually to the nation's best head coach. Established in 2009, Nick Saban was the award's first recipient. The trophy commemorates former Florida State Seminoles football coach Bobby Bowden.

The 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship was a college football bowl game played on January 11, 2016 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The second College Football Playoff National Championship, the game determined a national champion of the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) for the 2015 season. The 1989 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament took place from March 9–12, 1989 at the University of Tennessee’s Thompson–Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Alabama Crimson Tide won the tournament and received the SEC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball tournament by defeating Florida by a score of 72–60 in the championship game on March 12, 1989.
The 1982 SEC Men's Basketball Tournament took place from March 3–6, 1982 at Rupp Arena in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, home to the University of Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team. The Alabama Crimson Tide won the tournament and the SEC's automatic bid to the 1982 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball tournament by defeating Kentucky by a score of 48–46. The tournament win was Alabama's second SEC tournament win, but it was the program's first tournament win since the 1934 tournament.
