Forest Hill is a rural locality of the Shire of Plantagenet in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The Muir Highway passes through the locality from west to east, as does the Hay River. The Pardelup, Pardelup Road, Kwornicup Lake and Wamballup Nature Reserves are located within Forest Hill. Pardelup Prison Farm is also located within Forest Hill. [2] [3]
Forest Hill is located on the traditional land of the Menang people of the Noongar nation. [4]
The Forest Hill Agricultural Hall is listed on the shire's heritage register, [5] having officially been opened in November 1911. [6]

The Shire of Plantagenet is a local government area in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, managed from the town of Mount Barker, 360 kilometres (224 mi) south of Perth and 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Albany. The shire covers an area of 4,792 square kilometres (1,850 sq mi) and includes the communities of Narrikup, Rocky Gully, Kendenup and Porongurup.
Narrikup is a small town and locality of the Shire of Plantagenet in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. Narrikup is located between Albany and Mount Barker. At the 2006 census, Narrikup had a population of 515.

Jingalup is a town and locality in the Shire of Kojonup, Great Southern region of Western Australia. Jingalup is located between the towns of Kojonup and Cranbrook, on Murrin Brook, which is a tributary of the Tone River. The locality is home to the Jingalup and South Jingalup Nature Reserves.
Marbelup is a townsite and locality of the City of Albany in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The South Coast Highway runs through the locality west to east while the Great Southern Railway passes through it from north to south. The Marbelup Nature Reserve surrounds the remaining gazetted townsite, just 4,052 square metres (43,620 sq ft) in size, on three sides but no town actually exists at location.
Mettler is a locality of the City of Albany in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, located along the Southern Ocean. The South Coast Highway passes through the northern part of the locality. Mettler is home to two nature reserves, the Mettler Lake Nature Reserve and the Basil Road Nature Reserve, while the far eastern end on Hassell National Park extends into the west of the locality.
Redmond West is a rural locality of the City of Albany in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The north-western corner of the locality is taken up by the south-eastern section of the Mount Lindesay National Park and the Blue Gum Creek Nature Reserve is also located within Redmond West. The Hay River passes through it and also forms its boundary in the south-west.
Palmdale is a rural locality of the City of Albany in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The Kalgan River forms the western boundary of the locality, with the Granite Hill Nature Reserve stretching along the river in the north of Palmdale.
Napier is a rural locality of the City of Albany in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The Kalgan River forms the north-eastern boundary of the locality, with the Granite Hill Nature Reserve stretching along the river in this section. The Napier Nature Reserve is also located within Napier. Chester Pass Road passes through Napier from south to north.
Lake Toolbrunup is a rural locality of the Shire of Broomehill–Tambellup in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The Anderson Lake and the Three Swamps Nature Reserves are located within Lake Toolbrunup.
Kenmare is a rural locality of the Shire of Woodanilling in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The Beaufort River forms much of the western border of the locality, which reaches as far west as Albany Highway in two places. The Martinup, Murapin, Miripin and Wardering Lake Nature Reserves are all located in the north of Kenmare, while the Wingedine Nature Reserve is located in the south.
Woogenellup, sometimes also spelled Woogenilup, is a rural locality of the Shire of Plantagenet in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The eastern border of Woogenellup is formed by Chester Pass Road, while the southern boundary of the Stirling Range National Park forms its northern border. The Kalgan River runs through the locality from north-west to south-east, and the Kalgan Plains Nature Reserve is located within Woogenellup, south of the river.
Perillup is a rural locality of the Shire of Plantagenet in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The Muir Highway passes through the locality from west to east while the Kent River passes through its north before forming much of its western border. Most of the locality south of the highway is taken up by the Mount Roe National Park while, to the north of the highway, the Randell Road and the unnamed WA11343 Nature Reserves are located.
Mobrup is a rural locality of the Shire of Kojonup in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The Tone River forms the majority of the north-western border of the locality. The Cootayerup, Mininup, Mongelup, Wandoora and Yetterup Nature Reserves are all located within Mobrup, as are two unnamed nature reserves.
Cherry Tree Pool is a rural locality of the Shire of Kojonup in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The Carrolup River forms much of its northern border. The Birdwood and Cherry Tree Pool Nature Reserves and the Kojonup Reserve are located within Cherry Tree Pool, as is an unnamed nature reserve.
Scotsdale is a rural locality of the Shire of Denmark in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The Denmark River flows through the east of the locality. The Scotsdale Road and Redmond Road Nature Reserves are located in the south of Scotsdale.
Wittenoom Hills is a rural locality of the Shire of Esperance in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. A substantial part of the locality is covered by nature reserves, established in 1966 and 1974. The Wittenoom Hills are a range of hills with Mount Burdett, 271 metres (889 ft) high, as its most prominent point.
Beaumont is a rural locality of the Shire of Esperance in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. The locality is home to six nature reserves. Mount Beaumont, with a height of 276 metres (906 ft), is located in the north-west of Beaumont, just outside the Beaumont Nature Reserve.
