Pudong is a district of Shanghai located east of the Huangpu, the river which flows through central Shanghai. The name Pudong was originally applied to the Huangpu's east bank, directly across from the west bank or Puxi, the historic city center. It now refers to the broader Pudong New Area, a state-level new area which extends all the way to the East China Sea.
Changning is a district of Shanghai, China. It has a land area of 37.19 square kilometres (14.36 sq mi) and had a population of 620,000 as of 2003. The district government is located at 1320 Yuyuan Rd.
Minhang District is a suburban district of Shanghai with a land area of 371.57 km2 (143.46 sq mi) and population of 2,653,489 residents as of 2020. The original Minhang consist of present-day Jiangchuan Road Subdistrict and the eastern strip of Wujing along the Huangpu River in 1992, the surrounding Shanghai County merged with Minhang.
Tongxiang City is a county-level city, part of Jiaxing, in northern Zhejiang Province, China, bordering Jiangsu province to the north. It had a population of 1,029,754 as of the 2020 census even though its built-up area is smaller. Nevertheless, as the city is expanding east quickly, its now nearly conurbated with Jiaxing built-up area by Xiuzhou District.
Thames Town is a new town in Songjiang District, about 30 kilometres (19 mi) from central Shanghai. Completed in 2006, it is named after the River Thames, which flows through London, United Kingdom. The architecture is themed according to British market town styles. There are cobbled streets, Victorian terraces, corner shops and red telephone boxes. High house prices led to few permanent residents moving to the area, causing many of the shops and restaurants to close and the area to become known as a "ghost town".
Line 2 is an east–west line in the Shanghai Metro network. With a length of nearly 64 km (40 mi), it is the second longest line in the metro system after line 11. Line 2 runs from East Xujing in the west to Pudong International Airport in the east, passing Hongqiao Airport, the Huangpu river, and the Lujiazui Financial District in Pudong. With a daily ridership of over 1.9 million, it is the busiest line on the Shanghai Metro. The eastern portion of the line, from Guanglan Road to Pudong International Airport, was operated almost independently from the main segment until April 19, 2019, when through service began. The line is colored light green on system maps.
Hofwijck is a mansion built for 17th-century politician Constantijn Huygens. It is located in Voorburg on the Vliet canal from The Hague to Leiden. Formal address of the cultural heritage is 2 Westeinde, Voorburg, the Netherlands, but its location today is better known as the Voorburg railway station.
The Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel and Bridge is a bridge–tunnel complex across the south fork of the Yangtze River near the river mouth in Shanghai. The tunnel connects the Pudong District of Shanghai on the south bank of the river with Changxing Island, while the bridge connects Changxing Island with Chongming Island. In combination with the Chongqi Bridge, which connects Chongming Island to the north bank of the Yangtze, the bridge–tunnel complex forms the final crossing of the Yangtze before it empties into the East China Sea.
Jinqiao is a town of Pudong, Shanghai, China. It is in the middle of Pudong, with Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park on its south, Huangpu River at its north, overlooking Lujiazui Financial and Trade Center to its west. On its north side, is Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone and harbor. Jinqiao has a national development zone - Jinqiao Export Processing Zone. The area contains a relatively high proportion of foreign nationals and is notable for its large number of International Schools and comfortable environment.
Line 18 is a north–south Shanghai Metro line running from South Changjiang Road station in the city's Baoshan District to Hangtou station in Pudong, with a length of 36.13 km (22.45 mi). The line was originally scheduled to open by the end of 2020. However, officials announced that only the initial segment of eight stations in Pudong started test runs in September 2020. The 14.5 km (9.0 mi) southern section opened for passenger operations on December 26, 2020. The remainder of the line was opened on 30 December 2021. The line is 36.5 km (22.7 mi) long with 26 stations. The line is one of Shanghai Metro's new batch of high capacity fully automated and driverless lines along with Lines 14 and 15. The line is colored tan on system maps.
The Yingbin Expressway is a 14.4-kilometre-long expressway (8.9 mi) in the city of Shanghai, China. It is designated S1 for its entire length and serves as the main expressway from the city center to Pudong International Airport, Shanghai's main international airport. Before 2009, it was designated as A1.
Lianshan District is a district under the administration of the city of Huludao, Liaoning, People's Republic of China. It is located in the northeastern corner of Huludao prefecture, bordering Jinzhou. It has a total area of 1,651 square kilometres (637 sq mi), and along with Longgang District is one of the two districts within which Huludao city itself is situated.

Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, was the first Free Trade Zone to be established in China. It is situated in the North East of Pudong District, near the end of Metro Line 6. It was incorporated as part of the newly developed China (Shanghai) Pilot Free-Trade Zone on September 29, 2013.
Fengjing is a town in Jinshan District, Shanghai. An ancient water town, it also has a new town with a Canadian theme and an industrial zone. It is a centre for Jinshan peasant painting.
Luodian is a town in Baoshan District about 25 kilometres (16 mi) from central Shanghai, China. Luodian Old Town dates back to the Yuan Dynasty. Modern developments include Luodian Industrial Zone, and Luodian New Town, also known as North European New Town, which is a new town with a Nordic architectural theme. Luodian is a replica of Sigtuna.
Pujiang is a town in Minhang District, Shanghai, China. It contains Pujiang New Town, which is a new town with an Italian architectural theme, sometimes referred to as Città di Pujiang. It also contains Zhaojialou, an old water town which is undergoing restoration, Caohejing Pujiang Hi-Tech Park and Shanghai National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base.
The Shanghai Japanese School (SJS) is a Japanese international school serving primary and junior high school levels in Shanghai. It has two campuses, one in Hongqiao and one in Pudong. The school's teachers are Japanese citizens. The school also has a senior high school component.
Gaoqiao is a Shanghai Metro station located on Line 10 within the town of Gaoqiao in Pudong, Shanghai. Located east of the intersection of North Pudong Road and Gangcheng Road, it was scheduled to open with the rest of the northern extension of Line 10 in 2018, however, due to construction delays, the station opened on 26 December 2020. It is an elevated station with two side platforms.
Sanxi is a town in Jingde County, Anhui, China. As of the 2016 census it had a population of 13,083 and an area of 70.01 square kilometres (27.03 sq mi). It is only 62-square-kilometre (24 sq mi) away from Huangshan Scenic Spot. It borders Caijiaqiao Town in the East, Suncun Town in the south, Xinglong Town in the West and Langqiao Town of Jing County in the north.
