Geuzenveld-Slotermeer is a neighborhood and former borough (stadsdeel) comprising some of the most western parts of the city of Amsterdam, Netherlands. As a borough it existed from 1990 till 2010, when it merged with the boroughs Osdorp and Slotervaart to form the new borough Amsterdam Nieuw-West.

Amsterdam Muiderpoort is a railway station in the east of Amsterdam. It was reopened on 15 October 1939 after being first opened in 1896. It is located 4 km southeast of Amsterdam Centraal. At this station the Amsterdam–Arnhem railway and the Amsterdam–Zutphen railway split, with the two parts of the station separated. The western part is the Amsterdam Centraal to Utrecht Centraal line. The eastern part is the Amsterdam Centraal to Amersfoort Centraal line. The station is operated by the Nederlandse Spoorwegen.

Amsterdam Lelylaan is a railway, metro, tram and bus station in west Amsterdam. It is served by trains of the Nederlandse Spoorwegen and metros of the GVB. The station opened on 1 June 1986. It is located on the Amsterdam-Schiphol railway, a few km south of Amsterdam Sloterdijk railway station. South of this station, trains turn west towards Schiphol railway station, while metros turn east towards Amsterdam Zuid railway station. The station is located in the Amsterdam borough of Slotervaart, on a long viaduct spanning three roads.
