Highland is a village in Iowa County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 842 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Madison Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village is located within the Town of Highland.

As of the census [3] of 2010, there were 842 people, 351 households, and 226 families living in the village. The population density was 751.8 inhabitants per square mile (290.3/km2). There were 386 housing units at an average density of 344.6 per square mile (133.1/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 97.6% White, 0.4% African American, 0.7% Native American, 0.1% Asian, and 1.2% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.0% of the population.
There were 351 households, of which 28.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.0% were married couples living together, 7.7% had a female householder with no husband present, 1.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 35.6% were non-families. 30.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.39 and the average family size was 3.04.
The median age in the village was 40.3 years. 23.3% of residents were under the age of 18; 6.5% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 24.8% were from 25 to 44; 29.3% were from 45 to 64; and 16.3% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the village was 51.0% male and 49.0% female.

The average household size was 2.44 and the average family size was 3.03.
