Islam in Cape Verde is a minority religion with a small but growing community. [1] With 2.8% of the total population. [2] Most Muslims are immigrants from Senegal and other neighboring countries, and are active in small-scale commerce and souvenir trade.[ citation needed ]

Farol da Ponta Preta is a lighthouse in the northwesternmost part of the island of Santiago, Cape Verde. It stands on the headland Ponta Preta, 3 km northwest of the city Tarrafal. The lighthouse was constructed in 1889. Its lantern stands on a white column with a pyramidal base, in front of a small one storey building. The lighthouse was depicted on a Cape Verdean stamp in 2004.
Morrinho de Açúcar is a small hill in the northern part of the island of Sal in Cape Verde. It is situated 1 km from the north coast and 8 km north of the island capital Espargos. It is a remnant of a volcanic phonolitic chimney, surrounded by a vast plain. It is protected as a natural monument.
Cape Verde–Turkey relations are the foreign relations between Cape Verde and Turkey. The Turkish ambassador in Dakar, Senegal is also accredited to Cape Verde.
