Eswatini, officially the Kingdom of Eswatini and also known as Swaziland, is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. It is bordered by Mozambique to its northeast and South Africa to its north, west and south. At no more than 200 kilometres (120 mi) north to south and 130 kilometres (81 mi) east to west, Eswatini is one of the smallest countries in Africa; despite this, its climate and topography are diverse, ranging from a cool and mountainous highveld to a hot and dry lowveld.
Eswatini is a country in Southern Africa, lying between Mozambique and South Africa. The country is located at the geographic coordinates 26°30′S31°30′E. Eswatini has an area of 17,363 square kilometres, of which 160 are water. The major regions of the country are Lowveld, Midveld and Highveld.
Eswatini is a member of the United Nations, the Commonwealth of Nations, the African Union, the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa, and the Southern African Development Community. Currently, the Kingdom of Eswatini maintains 11 embassies along with 15 consulates and other representations around the world, while there are five embassies in Eswatini as well as 14 consulates and other representations.
The Eswatini national football team, nicknamed Sihlangu Semnikati, is the national team of Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland, and is controlled by the Eswatini Football Association. It has never qualified for the World Cup or the Africa Cup of Nations finals. Swaziland's best performance in an international tournament is a semi-final finish in the COSAFA Cup.
Eswatini Airlink is the flag carrier of Eswatini. It is part of an alliance with South African Airways, South African Express and South African Airlink.

Ngwenyama is the title of the male ruler (King) of Eswatini. The Ngwenyama is the counterpart of the Ndlovukati. Ingwenyama means "lion" in siSwati, but in an honorific sense, as opposed to libhubesi, the usual way of referring to actual lions.

Eswatini first participated at the Olympic Games in 1972. They missed the next two games but returned for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles and have appeared in all the games since then. They made their first and only appearance at the Winter Olympics in 1992. In all competitions they have yet to win a medal.
