A superhero or superheroine is a stock character who typically possesses superpowers or abilities beyond those of ordinary people, is frequently costumed concealing their identity, and fits the role of the hero; typically using their powers to help the world become a better place, or dedicating themselves to protecting the public and fighting crime. Superhero fiction is the genre of fiction that is centered on such characters, especially, since the 1930s, in American comic books, as well as in Japanese media.
Gamera is a fictional monster, or kaiju, originating from a series of Japanese films. Debuting in the 1965 film Gamera, the Giant Monster, the character and the first film were intended to compete with the success of Toho's Godzilla film series. Since then, Gamera has become a Japanese icon in his own right, appearing in a total of 12 films produced by Daiei Film and later by Tokuma Shoten and Kadokawa Daiei Studio respectively, and various other media such as novelizations, manga, video games, and so on.
Takeshi Aono was a Japanese voice actor and narrator from Asahikawa, Hokkaidō. He was attached to Aoni Production at the time of his death. He graduated from Hokkaidō Asahikawa Higashi High School.
Masako Nozawa is a Japanese actress and narrator. Throughout her life, she has been affiliated with Production Baobab, 81 Produce and self-owned Office Nozawa; she is also affiliated with Aoni Production. Her late husband, Masaaki Tsukada, was also a voice actor.
Kenji Utsumi was a Japanese actor and voice actor from Kitakyushu, affiliated with the self-founded Ken Production.
Yūsaku Yara is a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator from Tokyo, Japan. His real name is Susumu Kawabe, and his former stage name was Tetsu Kurobe. Previously, he was the representative director of the voice actor office vi-vo, but it was dissolved due to old age.
Ichikawa Raizō VIII was a Japanese film and kabuki actor. His birth name was Akio Kamezaki, and his name was legally changed several times, first to Yoshio Takeuchi, and later to Yoshiya Ōta, separate from his performing name.
The Helicarrier is a fictional airborne aircraft carrier appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the aircraft first appeared in Strange Tales #135.
