This is a list of the municipalities in the state of Pernambuco (PE), located in the Northeast Region of Brazil. Pernambuco is divided into 184 municipalities (plus the state district of Fernando de Noronha), which are grouped into 19 microregions, which are grouped into 5 mesoregions.

Abreu e Lima covers 126.193 km2 (48.723 sq mi), and has a population of 100,346 with a population density of 780 inhabitants per square kilometer. 75% of the area of the municipality is rural, but only 8% of the population lives outside of the urban center.

Toritama is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, in the mesoregion of Agreste Pernambucano. It is located at an altitude of 349 m, and it is 153 km west of the capital Recife. In 2020 it has an estimated population of 46,164 and an area of 25.7 km², which makes it the smallest municipality of Pernambuco, if Fernando de Noronha is not taken into account. Toritama is best knowns for its production and sale of textiles, in particular jeans.

The exploration of gypsum and calcarium is the base of the local economy and at the homonymous microregion.

The estimated population in 2020, according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) was 10,206 inhabitants and the total area is 318.71 km2. The municipality was created in 1958 by state law.
