Oscar-class submarine Soviet nuclear cruise missile submarine class

The Oscar class, Soviet designations Project 949 Granit and Project 949A Antey, are a series of nuclear-powered cruise missile submarines designed in the Soviet Union for the Soviet Navy. First built in the 1970s, six remain in service with the Russian Navy. Two other vessels were slated to be modernized since at least 2017 as Project 949AM, to extend their service life and increase combat capabilities but it is unclear whether work continues as of 2023.

Fincantieri S.p.A. is an Italian shipbuilding company based in Trieste, Italy. Already the largest shipbuilder in Europe, after the acquisition of Vard in 2013, Fincantieri group doubled in size to become the fourth largest in the world (2014). The company builds both commercial and military vessels.

The Algerian Naval Force is the naval branch of the Algerian military. The naval force operates from multiple bases along the country's nearly 1,440 km (890 mi) coastline, fulfilling its primary role of monitoring and defending Algeria's territorial waters against all foreign military or economic intrusion. Additional missions include coast guard and maritime safety missions as well a projection of marine forces. Algerian forces are an important player in the Western Mediterranean. The Algerian navy ranks 15th globally in the world's most important naval forces report of 2023.

Q-Max Ship for carrying liquefied natural gas

Q-Max is a type of ship, specifically a membrane type LNG carrier. In the name Q-Max, "Q" stands for Qatar and "Max" for the maximum size of ship able to dock at the Liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals in Qatar. Ships of this type are the largest LNG carriers in the world.

TUI Cruises is a cruise line based in Germany. It was formed in 2007 as a joint venture between the German tourism company TUI AG and the American cruise line operator Royal Caribbean Group, both of whom hold a 50% stake in the company.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Hudong–Zhonghua Shipbuilding</span> Chinese shipbuilding company

Hudong–Zhonghua Shipbuilding is a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). It produces civilian and military ships. Hudong–Zhonghua claims to be the "Cradle of Chinese Frigates and Landing Ships" for its work for the People's Liberation Army Navy.

<i>Prima</i>-class cruise ship Class of cruise ships built for Norwegian Cruise Line

Prima-class cruise ships, formerly known by the project name Project Leonardo, are a class of cruise ships built for Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). These are the first NCL ships to be built by Fincantieri. Each ship is expected to cost about $850 million. The modifications that are to be made to the design for the future Prima-class ships would result in an extra 1.2 billion euros in shipbuilding costs — about $1.27 billion.

Sphere-class cruise ship LNG powered cruise ship

The Sphere-class cruise ship is a class of cruise ships currently under construction that will enter service with Princess Cruises in February 2024. They will be the largest ships built for Princess Cruises and the company's first ships powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). The first name was revealed to be Sun Princess.

<i>Utopia of the Seas</i> Cruise ship

Utopia of the Seas is a cruise ship operated by Royal Caribbean International. She is the sixth ship in the Oasis Class and entered service on 19 July 2024 out of Port Canaveral. She is larger than sister ship Wonder of the Seas by gross tonnage.
