Katie Anne Noonan is an Australian singer and songwriter. In addition to a successful solo career encompassing opera, jazz, pop, rock and dance, she was the singer in the band George and remains the singer in the band Elixir; performs with her mother Maggie Noonan; and plays with her band The Captains. Noonan was the musical director of and performed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games' opening and closing ceremonies.
The ARIA Charts are the main Australian music sales charts, issued weekly by the Australian Recording Industry Association. The charts are a record of the highest selling songs and albums in various genres in Australia. ARIA became the official Australian music chart in June 1988, succeeding the Kent Music Report, which had been Australia's national music sales charts since 1974.

"Lanterns" is the second single from Australian alternative rock band Birds of Tokyo's fourth album, March Fires. Peking Duk is an Australian electronic music band from Canberra, made up of disc jockeys and record producers Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles. The pair first garnered attention in 2012 with the release of a Passion Pit bootleg remix. Their biggest hit, "High", reached 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart, achieved a triple platinum certification, and won the ARIA Award for Best Dance Release at the ARIA Music Awards of 2014. Notable festivals Peking Duk have performed include Falls Festival, Spilt Milk, Splendour in the Grass, and Big Day Out.
"Tightrope" is a song by Australian rapper, Illy. Written by Mark Landon and Alasdair Murray and produced by the former under his stage name, M-Phazes the song was first released in March 2014 through Illy's record label, ONETWO as the fourth single from Illy's fourth studio album, Cinematic (2013).
Company of Strangers were a short-lived rock, pop music studio project formed by Simon Hussey in late 1991. The album featured performances by Daryl Braithwaite (ex-Sherbet) on vocals, Simon Hussey on keyboards, drums, engineering and production, Jef Scott on guitar and vocals, and James Reyne on vocals and guitar. Their debut self-titled album appeared in December 1992 via Sony Music Australia with Hussey producing. It peaked at No. 9 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified gold in 1993 for shipment of 35000 copies.
Australian singer and songwriter, Celia Pavey has released three studio albums, one live album, two extended play, and twenty singles. In 2013, Pavey auditioned for and placed third on second season of The Voice (Australia).
