Pitch Perfect: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the official music for the 2012 film Pitch Perfect. The soundtrack was released digitally on September 25, 2012, and physically on October 2, 2012. Three songs from the album charted on the Billboard Hot 100: "Cups" by Anna Kendrick, which peaked at number 6; "Bellas Finals" by the Barden Bellas, which peaked at number 85; and "Riff Off" by the Barden Bellas, the Treblemakers, and the BU Harmonics, which peaked at number 86.
Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has released three studio albums, five extended plays (EPs), two mixtapes and seventeen singles. In September 2011, Azalea released her first mixtape, Ignorant Art. In 2007, XCX began recording her debut album on a loan granted by her parents. Titled 14, after her age at the time, it received only a restricted public release. In June 2012, Charli XCX released her first mixtape, titled Heartbreaks and Earthquakes, a one-track file consisting of eight songs. American actress and singer Idina Menzel has released seven studio albums, fifteen singles and two live albums. She is dubbed as the "Streisand of her generation" by various media outlets. She became the first artist with both a Billboard Top 10 hit and a Tony Award for acting with her global smash hit "Let It Go". Her album "Holiday Wishes" remains her highest charting album on Billboard 200, peaking at #6 and also debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Holiday Albums Chart. Let It Go stormed the charts and became a pop culture phenomenon. It became the fifth biggest-selling song of 2014, selling 10.9 million worldwide via IFPI. Menzel was Billboard's 48th top performing artist of 2014 and she also the 9th Top Hot 100 artist of the same year. Let It Go is certified 8× Platinum in the US, according to RIAA and has sold a million units in South Korea and United Kingdom.
American pop singer Halsey has released four studio albums, two live albums, 11 extended plays, 28 singles, 10 promotional singles, and 36 music videos. After being signed to Astralwerks, she released her debut EP Room 93 on October 27, 2014, and then toured with larger acts to promote it and her upcoming album. Since her debut, Halsey has released nine Gold, 11 Platinum, seven Multiplatinum, and one Diamond single in the United States alone.
Moana: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack to the 2016 Disney animated film of the same name. The soundtrack was released by Walt Disney Records on November 19, 2016. It features songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa'i, with lyrics in English, Samoan, Tokelauan and Tuvaluan. The two-disc deluxe edition includes the score, which was composed by Mancina, as well as demos, outtakes and instrumental karaoke tracks. The record also produced two singles.
The Greatest Showman: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the film The Greatest Showman. It was released in full on December 8, 2017, by Atlantic Records. The album contains all of the film's musical numbers, but none of the film's underscore. The first pre-order release was on October 26, 2017, with two promotional singles: "The Greatest Show" and "This Is Me". A third, "Rewrite the Stars", followed on November 17, 2017. "This Is Me" was released on December 8, 2017, as the album's official lead single. In Australia, "Rewrite the Stars" was released to radio on July 20, 2018.
Bohemian Rhapsody: The Original Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the Queen biographical film of the same name. The soundtrack features many of the band's songs and unreleased recordings including tracks from their legendary concert at Live Aid in 1985. The soundtrack was released by Hollywood Records and Virgin EMI Records on 19 October 2018, on CD, cassette and digital formats. The soundtrack was later released on 8 February 2019, as a vinyl double album specially cut at Abbey Road Studios. A limited and much sought after double picture disc edition of the album, as well as a 7" coloured single featuring the original "Bohemian Rhapsody"/"I'm in Love with My Car" pairing, was also released on Record Store Day, 13 April 2019. The disc artwork takes its inspiration from the photography of Denis O'Regan. In November 2019, the soundtrack received an American Music Award for Top Soundtrack.
