Manama is a village in Gwanda District ward the province of Matabeleland South, Zimbabwe. [1] It is located south of Gwanda on the road to Kafusi.
The village is a rural service centre with a Lutheran Mission that has a hospital [2] and a high school, a small commercial centre and a bus rank. FM radio station Ntepe-Manama is based in the village. [3]
The Thuli River runs through the town.
Matabeleland South is a province in southwestern Zimbabwe. With a population of 683,893 as of the 2012 Zimbabwean census, it is the country's least populous province. After Matabeleland North, it is Zimbabwe's second-least densely populated province. Matabeleland South was established in 1974, when the original Matabeleland Province was divided into two provinces, the other being Matabeleland North. The province is divided into six districts.
