Members of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly who served in the 57th Parliament hold their seats from 2019 to 2023. They were elected at the 2019 state election on 23 March 2019. [1] [2] The Speaker was Shelley Hancock until May 2019 and then Jonathan O'Dea. [5]

  1. 1 2 On 20 September 2020, the member for Port Macquarie, Leslie Williams, resigned from the National Party and joined the Liberal Party.
  2. 1 2 On 3 March 2021, the Liberal member for Drummoyne, John Sidoti, resigned from the party and moved to the crossbench to sit as an independent.
  3. 1 2 3 On 31 March 2021, the Nationals member for Upper Hunter, Michael Johnsen, resigned. Dave Layzell (Nationals) was elected to replace him at a by-election held on 22 May 2021.
  4. 1 2 On 14 May 2021, the Liberal member for Kiama, Gareth Ward, resigned from the party and moved to the crossbench to sit as an independent. In March 2022 Ward was suspended from attending parliament, until the conclusion of criminal proceedings against him.
  5. 1 2 3 On 30 December 2021, the Liberal member for Willoughby, Gladys Berejiklian, resigned. Tim James (Liberal) was elected to replace her at a by-election held on 12 February 2022.
  6. 1 2 3 On 30 December 2021, the Liberal member for Bega, Andrew Constance, resigned. Michael Holland (Labor) was elected to replace him at a by-election held on 12 February 2022.
  7. 1 2 3 On 31 December 2021, the Nationals member for Monaro, John Barilaro, resigned. Nichole Overall (Nationals) was elected to replace him at a by-election held on 12 February 2022.
  8. 1 2 3 On 31 December 2021, the Labor member for Strathfield, Jodi McKay, resigned. Jason Yat-Sen Li (Labor) was elected to replace her at a by-election held on 12 February 2022.
  9. 1 2 On 3 March 2022, the member for Murray, Helen Dalton, resigned from the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party to sit as an independent.
  10. 1 2 On 20 October 2022, the member for Bankstown, Tania Mihailuk, resigned from the Labor Party to sit as an independent and then as a member of Pauline Hanson's One Nation. She officially resigned from the Legislative Assembly on 1/3/2023, to focus on her campaign to move to the Legislative Council. [3] [4]

Bradley Ronald "Brad" Hazzard, an Australian politician, has been the New South Wales Minister for Health since January 2017 in the Berejiklian and Perrottet ministries. Until his retirement at the March 2023 state election, Hazzard was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Wakehurst for the Liberal Party since 1991.

Giovanni Domenic "John" Barilaro is a former Australian politician who served as the 18th deputy premier of New South Wales and the leader of the New South Wales division of the National Party from 2016 to 2021. He was the Minister for Regional New South Wales, Industry and Trade in the second Berejiklian ministry from April 2019, and a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing the electoral district of Monaro since 2011 until his resignation in October 2021.

Paul Lawrence Toole, an Australian politician, is the Deputy Premier and leader of the New South Wales Nationals since October 2021. Toole is the Minister for Regional New South Wales in the second Berejiklian and Perrottet ministries, since April 2019; and the New South Wales Minister for Police in the Perrottet ministry since December 2021. He is a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, representing Bathurst for the Nationals since 26 March 2011.

Leslie Gladys Williams is an Australian politician and a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Port Macquarie since 2011 for the Nationals until switching to the Liberal Party in 2020. Williams has served as the New South Wales Assistant Minister for Education, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, and Minister for Early Childhood Education from 2 April 2015 until 23 January 2017 when she was replaced in Gladys Berejiklian's cabinet by Sarah Mitchell. Since 7 May 2019, she has served as Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.

Anthony John Sidoti is an independent Australian politician who was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Drummoyne since 2011. He was a member of the Liberal Party, but moved to the crossbench as an independent in March 2021, following the announcement of a public inquiry into his property dealings by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).

Geoffrey Lee is an Australian politician. He has served as the Minister for Corrections in the Perrottet ministry since December 2021. He has previously served as the Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education in the second Berejiklian and Perrottet ministries between April 2019 and December 2021. Lee is also a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Parramatta for the Liberal Party since 2011.

Dominic Francis Perrottet is an Australian politician who served as the 46th premier of New South Wales from 2021 to 2023. He held office as leader of the New South Wales division of the Liberal Party of Australia, and assumed the position following the resignation of Gladys Berejiklian.

Natasha Marianne Maclaren-Jones is an Australian politician, and is a Liberal Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Council since March 2011. Maclaren-Jones has served as the Minister for Families and Communities and the Minister for Disability Services since December 2021.

Members of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly who served in the 56th Parliament held their seats from 2015 to 2019. They were as elected at the 2015 state election and at by-elections. The Speaker was Shelley Hancock.

The Second Berejiklian ministry was the 97th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by Gladys Berejiklian, the state's 45th Premier. It was the second and subsequent of two occasions that Berejiklian served as Premier.

Members of the New South Wales Legislative Council who served in the 57th Parliament were elected at the 2015 and 2019 elections. As members serve eight-year terms, half of the Council was elected in 2015 and did not face re-election in 2019, and the members elected in 2019 will not face re-election until 2027. The President was John Ajaka until March 2021 and then Matthew Mason-Cox from May 2021.
