Montezuma County is the southwesternmost of the 64 counties in the U.S. state of Colorado. As of the 2010 census, the population was 25,535. The county seat is Cortez.

The Randolph Hotel or Hotel Randolph is a nine-story hotel located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. This hotel was designed and built by the H.L. Stevens & Company in 1911. It rents rooms for a weekly rate. Most guests are considered long term, meaning they stay for more than thirty consecutive days. The Randolph Hotel is located on the corner of Fourth Street and Court Avenue downtown, along the historic Court Avenue strip.

The F. H. Miller House is a historic building located in the central part of Davenport, Iowa, United States. The house served as the official residence for two of Davenport's Catholic bishops and as a bed and breakfast. The building now houses the Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations for St. Ambrose University, and is called Alumni House. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983.
The Burtis–Kimball House Hotel and the Burtis Opera House were located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. The hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It has since been torn down and it was delisted from the National Register in 2008. The theatre building has been significantly altered since a fire in the 1920s. Both, however, remain important to the history of the city of Davenport.

The Poweshiek County Courthouse in Montezuma, Iowa, United States, was built in 1859. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 as a part of the County Courthouses in Iowa Thematic Resource. In 2012 it was listed as a contributing property in the Montezuma Downtown Historic District. The courthouse is the second building the county has used for court functions and county administration.

The Carnegie Library Building in Carroll, Iowa, United States, is a building from 1905. The 60-by-38.5-foot structure was designed in the Prairie School style by Omaha architect Thomas R. Kimball. The Carnegie Corporation of New York had accepted Carroll's application for a grant for $10,000 on February 12, 1903. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
Frank E. Wetherell (1869-1961) was an architect in the U.S. state of Iowa who worked during 1892–1931. He founded the second oldest architectural firm in the state in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1905. He worked with Roland Harrison in partnership Wetherell & Harrison. The firm designed numerous Masonic buildings.
The Sexton Hotel, also known as Hotel Stuart, is a historical building located in Stuart, Iowa, United States. The building is a two-story, L-shaped, brick and brick veneer structure that was built in two parts. The oldest section was a frame building built by John Sexton in 1893 and housed a restaurant. It was moved to the north and the brick hotel wing was built by Sexton in 1907. The older structure, now the north wing of the larger building, was covered with brick veneer. The primary entry into the hotel is located in the canted entrance bay on the southwest corner of the building. There were 28 guest rooms, and the first floor of the north wing housed the dining hall. The first floor also housed a large lobby, the owners quarters, and some of the guest rooms.
The Montezuma Downtown Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Montezuma, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012. The historic district covers Montezuma's central business district, and includes the Poweshiek County Courthouse, Carter Hotel, and the Carnegie Library building. Iowa architect Frank E. Wetherell has at least one building.
The Brooklyn Hotel is a historic building located in Brooklyn, Iowa, United States. John Byers, who operated a grocery store and billiard hall, built the structure as a house in 1875. Subsequent owners operated a hotel here. It was known as the Brooklyn Hotel as early as 1894. Dr. Charles Busby was the exception. He operated a small hospital here in the early in the 20th century. The 2½-story building features a three-story entrance tower, bracketed eaves, window sills of limestone quarried nearby, and an irregular plan. The hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
The Warren Opera House Block and Hetherington Block are historic buildings located in Greenfield, Iowa, United States. They are both 2½-story brick structures. The Opera House block, originally owned by E.E. Warren, is located on the corner and features a corner turret. It housed Warren's dry goods store and a theatre. The adjacent commercial block was originally owned by John J. Heatherington, and is similar in style to the Opera House block. Both buildings feature facades with a tripartite arrangement and center frontispieces that project slightly forward, a broad rock-faced beltcourse that runs above the second floor windows, a narrow metal cornice, and a brick parapet with finials. The Opera House's parapet has a triangular pediment with "Opera House" on a rectangular base, and the Hetherington Block has a similar feature in a simplified form. The buildings were listed together on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. In 2014 they were included as a contributing property in the Greenfield Public Square Historic District.
Hotel Charitone is a historic building located in Chariton, Iowa, United States. Local architect William L. Perkins designed the building in the Neoclassical style. It was his second major commission in town after the Chariton Herald-Patriot Building (1918). Local contractor P.E. Johnson constructed the building. It opened on November 5, 1923 and remained in operation as a hotel with some apartments under various owners. The buildings had fallen into disrepair and was vacant when Hy-Vee, a grocery store chain that had been headquartered in Chariton for years spearheaded the renovation of the building as an act of gratitude for the community's support.
The Franklin Hotel is a historic building located in Strawberry Point, Iowa, United States. The Franklin Hotel and Land Company was established in 1902 for the purpose of building a modern hotel to serve the community. They hired the Independence, Iowa architectural firm of Netcott and Donnan to design the building, which was constructed by E.M. Loop of Hopkinton, Iowa. The hotel opened on February 12, 1903, and the building has served that purpose ever since. The two-story brick building combines the Neoclassical and Romanesque Revival styles. It sits on the northeast corner of an intersection and its rounded corner follows the curve of the intersection. The commercial space adjacent to the north is also a part of this building with hotel rooms on the second floor. Railroad tracks at one time were located just north of the hotel, which served the passengers from the railroad and later travelers from the highways that run past the hotel. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
