    Route 237 is a bypass road linking Catalina, Trinity Bay (situated on Route 230) with Newman's Cove, Bonavista Bay (situated on Route 235). It is referred to as Kings Cove Road

    There are no other communities along this highway, no other highways intersect it beyond the Routes 230 and 235. Within Catalina the highway is connected with local streets (Bond Street, Guys Lane, Harts Road). The entire length of the roadway is paved with single lane in either direction.

From here, the right-of-way continues west for a short distance as Pratt Boulevard (CR 243) to Brewster Street and Glen Cove Avenue. Route 107 is the only State Highway on Long Island to enter a city other than New York City. The route connects with several major parkways and expressways and has a concurrency with NY 106 through Hicksville and Jericho Gardens; the route is historically known as the Massapequa Glen Cove Highway.

    Maberly is a tiny coastal hamlet at the end of route 238-II on the Bonavista Peninsula on the island of Newfoundland with a permanent year-round population of about 20. In the 1921 census, there were 83 inhabitants. It has long been associated with nearby Elliston, being about 3 km from Elliston Centre by road, and was officially annexed by that town in the 1960s. Driving from Elliston Centre to Maberly, you pass through Sandy Cove and the Neck.
