According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 89.8 square miles (232.5 km2), of which 89.2 square miles (231.1 km2) is land and 0.54 square miles (1.4 km2), or 0.60%. is water. [3]
As of the census [2] of 2000, there were 150 people, 63 households, and 48 families residing in the town. The population density was 1.7 people per square mile (0.6/km2). There were 157 housing units at an average density of 1.8 per square mile (0.7/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 98.67% White and 1.33% Native American.
There were 63 households, out of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.5% were married couples living together, 6.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.8% were non-families. 22.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
