The Sint Maarten Football Federation is the governing body of association football in Sint Maarten. It was founded in 1986 and its president is Johnny Singh. The federation administers the men's national football team, the women's national football team, and various national leagues, predominantly the Sint Maarten Senior League. [3]

The FF mostly fell inactive around 2010, with football being described as a "mess" and returned in 2015, with national and international football coming back. [4] Hurricane Irma devastated the island in 2017 and football was limited for a time, [5] but managed to unsuccessfully apply to FIFA in 2022. An appeal was made to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and the result is undecided by August 2022. [6]

Flames United SC is a Sint Maarten football club that currently plays in the SMSA Senior League, the highest level of football on Dutch Sint Maarten. The club's home ground is the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex in Philipsburg, the country's capital. The club also fields a futsal team. The current manager is Omar Hunter and the current team captain is Loxley Parker.

The Statia Football Association was founded in 1980, with Mike Franco serving as president for a time, and they administered association football on the island of Sint Eustatius. It is not known if the organisation is still formally extant. If so, the association administers the men's national team, as well as the Sint Eustatius Football League. However, the league was only active from 1980 until 1985.

The Sint Eustatius national football team is the national association football team of the Caribbean island of Sint Eustatius. The Sint Maarten national football team represents Sint Maarten in international football under the control of the Sint Maarten Football Federation. After its creation in 1986, the association became an associate member of CONCACAF, the region's governing body, on 21 April 2002. It became a full member in 2013. Sint Maarten is also a member of the Caribbean Football Union and has played in the sub-confederation's tournaments since 1989. Sint Maarten is not a member of FIFA as of August 2022. The national side did not play a single senior international fixture for nearly sixteen years between 2000 and 2016.

Oliver Hobgood is a Sint Maartener footballer who plays for BK Herning Fremad and the Sint Maarten national team.
