Arne Eggen Norwegian composer

Arne Eggen was a Norwegian composer and organist, married in 1916 to Engel Johanne Othilie Sparre Gulbranson (1878–1918), the brother of musicologist and composer Erik Eggen (1877–1957), and brother in law to opers singer Ellen Gulbranson (1863–1947).

Ole Henrik Giørtz Jazz pianist

Ole Henrik Giørtz is a Norwegian jazz pianist, arranger and bandleader, the older brother of jazz singer Anne-Marie Giørtz. He is known from a number of recordings, and has contributed to several recordings and tours within bands such as Bazar, Chipahua, Erik Wøllo Quintet, Terje Rypdal Trio and Anne Grete Preus, and festival debut at Vossajazz 1977 and attended Moldejazz 1979, within the band Lotus.

Rolf Undsæt Løvland is a Norwegian composer and lyricist. Together with Fionnuala Sherry, he formed the Celtic-Nordic group Secret Garden, in which he was the composer, producer, and keyboardist. He began composing at an early age and grew up studying at the Kristiansand Music Conservatory, later receiving his master's degree from the Norwegian Institute of Music in Oslo. He is maybe most recognised for composing the song "You Raise Me Up", which, according to Rolf Løvland in an interview with Radio Norge in February 2010, has been covered more than 500 times thus far.

The Eurovision Song Contest, often simply called Eurovision, is an annual international song competition, with participants representing primarily European countries. Each participating country submits an original song to be performed on live television and radio, then casts votes for the other countries' songs to determine the winner. At least 50 countries are eligible to compete as of 2019, and since 2015, Australia has been allowed as a guest entrant.

Rune Klakegg Jazz pianist

Rune Klakegg is a Norwegian jazz pianist and composer, the older brother of guitarist Bjørn Klakegg, and known from a number of recordings and jazz bands including Oslo 13, Cutting Edge, Fuzzy Logic, Out to Lunch and Søyr.
