The Protyre 2011 Formula Renault BARC season was the 17th Formula Renault BARC Championship. The BARC is the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) that is one of the biggest organising clubs for auto racing in the United Kingdom. The season began at Donington Park on 23 April and ended on 16 October at Silverstone, after twelve rounds held in England.

Calendar

The series will form part of the BARC club racing meetings. The final round at Silverstone will be part of the British Touring Car Championship meeting. [2] On 3 March, a non-championship round was announced, to be held at Zandvoort, supporting the Masters of Formula 3 event and racing alongside the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup. British Formula Renault Championship referred to one of two Formula Renault championships that were held in the United Kingdom. The main series was Renault Sport UK's Formula Renault 2.0 UK championship which was held from 1989 to 2011 and was generally recognized as the British Formula Renault championship. However, in March 2012 it was announced that the Formula Renault UK series would not take place in 2012, with the series being ended definitively in September 2012. A secondary championship organised by the British Automobile Racing Club and known as the Protyre Formula Renault Championship was held continuously between 1995 and 2014. The 2009 Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship was the 21st British Formula Renault Championship. The season began at Brands Hatch on 5 April and ended at the same venue on 4 October, after twenty rounds held in England. Dean Smith won the title, despite missing the opening rounds of the series. Harry Tincknell won the Graduate Cup for first-year drivers.

The 2010 Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship was the 22nd British Formula Renault Championship. The season began at Thruxton on 3 April and ended on 10 October at Brands Hatch, after twenty rounds held in England, and for the first time since 2006, Scotland. Making its debut in the series in 2010 was the new-specification car, designed by Barazi-Epsilon, replacing the Tatuus chassis that had been in the series since 2000.

The Protyre 2012 Formula Renault BARC season was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across England. The championship featured a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers competing in 2 litre Formula Renault single seat race cars that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. The 2012 season was the 18th Formula Renault BARC Championship; the season began at Snetterton 200 on 7 April and ended on 7 October at Silverstone, after fourteen races, all held in England.

Oliver Rowland British racing driver

Oliver Rowland is a British racing driver. He is currently competing full-time in Formula E driving for Mahindra Racing. He has previously competed for Manor Motorsport in the 2018 WEC season, and he was also previously the young driver of Williams F1 Team during the 2018 Formula 1 season.

The Renault Clio Cup United Kingdom was an entry level One-make, Touring car racing motor sport category and the current name in the long history of Renault one-make cups in the UK. It currently attracts drivers from across the United Kingdom to compete along with several drivers for European countries. The championship has been run to various regulations over the years, and can trace its history back to 1974. Several former drivers have become successful in other Touring car racing formulae, including Andy Priaulx, who went on to become multiple World Touring Car Championship champion and Jason Plato who is multiple British Touring Car Championship champion. The championship currently runs on the support package of the British Touring Car Championship. The current series promoter is the British Automobile Racing Club, after previously being the promoter from 1974 to 2011. Prior to this, SRO promoted the series in 2012. The UK Clio Cup is to leave as a BTCC-support series and replace the Mini Challenge in supporting the 2020 British GT Championship, with the Mini Challenge taking the Clio Cup's spot.

The season began at Donington Park on 14 April and ended on 29 September at Silverstone Circuit. The series will form part of the BARC club racing meetings and expanded from fourteen to sixteen rounds at six events all held in England, with four triple header events.

The 2014 season was the 20th British Formula Renault Championship organised by the British Automobile Racing Club and the third season as the premier Formula Renault 2.0 championship in the United Kingdom. The season began at Rockingham Motor Speedway on 4 May and ended on 28 September at Silverstone Circuit. The series formed part of the BARC club racing meetings at six events all held in England, with three triple header events.

Víctor Jiménez Spanish racing driver

Víctor Jiménez is a Spanish racing driver from Madrid, Spain currently competing in the 2014 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain driving for the Redline Racing team, in the Pro class. In prior years, Jiménez was in the Pro-Am 1 class.

The 2015 Formula Renault 3.5 Series season was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in Formula Renault 3.5 formula race cars that conformed to the technical regulations for the championship. The 2015 season was the eleventh and final Formula Renault 3.5 Series season organised by Renault Sport, after it was announced that the organisation would withdraw its backing of the championship at the end of the season.

The 2015 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in 2 litre Formula Renault single seat race cars that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. The 2015 season was the 25th Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season organized by Renault Sport. The season began at Ciudad del Motor de Aragón on 25 April and finished on 18 October at Circuito de Jerez. The series formed part of the World Series by Renault meetings, with seventeen races at seven race meetings. The championship was won by British driver Jack Aitken.
