The 2018 Formula Renault Eurocup is a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship features drivers competing in 2 litre Formula Renault single seat race cars that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. The 2018 season is the 28th Formula Renault Eurocup season organized by the Renault Sport and the third season as the main category of the World Series by Renault. The series will visit ten circuits around the Europe, including Monaco. [1]
In 2018 the series was scheduled to feature the same nine teams as in previous year. [2] But Mark Burdett Motorsport wasn't able to appear on the grid.

The provisional calendar for the 2018 season was announced on 25 September 2017. The series will return to Hockenheimring in its schedule. While Pau Grand Prix will be not present in the 2018 calendar. [1] On 29 October the calendar was slightly altered, but featured the same ten circuits.

Vladimiros Tziortzis is a Cypriot professional racing driver who currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving the No. 5 EuroNASCAR FJ 2020 for Academy Motorsport in the EuroNASCAR 2 class. He previously competed in Formula Renault Eurocup and SMP F4 Championship before making the switch to stock car racing in 2020.
Neil Verhagen remains a Red Bull junior and will stay in Formula Renault Eurocup, switching to Tech 1 Racing.
With the race falling just short of the 75% planned distance, only half points were awarded, putting Fewtrell third in the championship on 91.5 points.
