2014 Asian Formula Renault Series (aka AFR Series) was the 15th Asian Formula Renault Series season since its creation by FRD in 2000. The series was based at the Zhuhai International Circuit, and four rounds of the season were held there. For 3 of them, AFR joined Pan Delta Racing Festival and for the season finale, it will be a support race of the Zhuhai 500 km Endurance Race. For the fifth round, at the Shanghai International Circuit, the series was the supporting race to the World Endurance Championship 2014 6 Hours of Shanghai In addition, the series also went to the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia for three-round race weekend.
The 2014 AFR Series saw drivers divided in to three categories: the International, Asian and Masters Classes. The International Class included drivers who were the front runners of previous AFR seasons or other national races. The Asian Class consisted of up-and-coming Asian drivers, while Masters Class was contested by experienced drivers who were 35 years old or above. [1]

Moreover, the AFR series will return to Shanghai for this season as the series holds a round of races on May 1–2 at Shanghai International Circuit.
The 2014 Clio Cup China Series was a multi-event, one make motor racing championship held across China. The championship featured a mix of professional motor racing drivers and gentlemen drivers in the region, competing in a Clio Renault Sport 200 that conformed to the technical regulations for the championship. The 2014 season was the sixth Clio Cup China Series season. The season started on 22 March at Zhuhai International Circuit and concluded on 28 September at Shanghai International Circuit after ten races held at five meetings. In addition, the series went for the first time to the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia. To add more excitement to the races, the series invited several celebrity drivers to take part including Hong Kong TV and movie star Alex Fong (方中信) and model Jacquelin Ch'ng (莊思敏).

The season began on 19 March at the Zhuhai International Circuit and ended on 23 October at the Zhejiang International Circuit after six double-header events. For the first time, the series travelled to Korea and Thailand, hosting a round at Yeongam and Buriram respectively; the rest of the rounds were held in China.

The 2019 Asian Formula Renault Series was the 20th season of the AFR Series since its creation in 2000 by FRD. The season began on 23 March at the Zhuhai International Circuit and ended at the same venue on 8 December after five events. Joey Alders won the 2019 Championship in his debut season with his team BlackArts Racing Team.
The 2020 Formula Renault AsiaCup was a planned multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across Asia. The championship would see drivers competing in Tatuus-F3R-spec cars with FR-19 Renault engines. The 2020 season would have been the inaugural season of the championship, following the rebranding of the Asian Formula Renault Series to align with the Formula Renault Eurocup. The season was cancelled in November 2020 due to customs restrictions in China because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2021 F4 Chinese Championship was the seventh season of the F4 Chinese Championship. It began on 22 October at Zhuhai International Circuit and ended on 5 December at Ningbo International Circuit.
