The 2022 French F4 Championship was the 12th season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship and the fifth under the FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship switched to Mygale M21-F4 chassis. [1] The series began on 16 April at Circuit Paul Armagnac and ended on 16 October at Circuit Paul Ricard. [2]
Alessandro Giusti won the championship with two races to spare.

The Circuit Paul Ricard is a French motorsport race track built in 1969 at Le Castellet, Var, near Marseille, with finance from pastis magnate Paul Ricard. Ricard wanted to experience the challenge of building a racetrack. The circuit has hosted the FIA Formula One French Grand Prix intermittently from 1971 to 2022.
Dijon-Prenois is a 3.801 km (2.362 mi) motor racing circuit located in Prenois, near Dijon, France. The undulating track is noted for its fast, sweeping bends.
Circuit Paul Armagnac, also known as Circuit de Nogaro, is a motorsport race track located in the commune of Nogaro in the Gers department in southwestern France. The track is named in honor of Nogaro-born racing driver Paul Armagnac, who died in an accident during practice for the 1962 1000 km de Paris at the Montlhéry circuit.
French F4 Championship, formerly known as Formula Renault Campus France, Formula Campus, Formul'Academy Euro Series, F4 Eurocup 1.6 is a form of open wheel racing founded in 1993 by Louis Drouet. It is based in France and aims at karting graduates. The series currently organized by the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA). Formerly, the champion receives support to continue in one of the Formula Renault 2.0 championships. In 2010, the re-branded series was made part of the World Series by Renault, but was then dropped for 2011. Since 2018, the series runs under FIA moniker.

The series began on 9 April at Circuit de Lédenon and ended on 30 October at Circuit Paul Ricard, after seven rounds and fourteen races.

The 2018 French F4 Championship was the eighth season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship and the first season under the FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship used Mygale M14-F4 chassis like in the F4 British Championship and Australian Formula 4 Championship. The engine was upgraded from 1.6 litre to 2.0 litre. The series began on 1 April at Nogaro and ended on 14 October at Le Castellet, after seven rounds and twenty one races.
The 2019 French F4 Championship was the ninth season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship and the second season under the FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship used Mygale M14-F4 chassis with an upgraded 2.0 litre engine. The series began on 20 April at Nogaro and ended on 13 October at Le Castellet. Hadrien David, who won seven races throughout the season, won the title, 57.5 points ahead of closest challenger Reshad de Gerus, who came out victorious on four occasions. Sixth-placed Enzo Valente won two races, and Nicky Hays, Victor Bernier, Gillian Henrion, Isack Hadjar, Ugo Gazil, Mikkel Grundtvig and Paul-Adrien Pallot all won one race respectively.
The 2020 French F4 Championship was the tenth season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship and the third under the FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship used Mygale M14-F4 chassis. For 2020, the series used a new 1.3-liter turbocharged engine produced by Renault Sport, replacing the previously used 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine. The series began on 21 August at Circuit Paul Armagnac and ended on 22 November at Circuit Paul Ricard.
Hadrien David is a French racing driver who currently races in the Formula Regional European Championship part-time with Monolite Racing, having previously competed with R-ace GP for the previous two years. He was the youngest FIA Formula 4 Champion when he won the French F4 Championship in 2019, at the age of 15. He was the 2021 Formula Regional European runner-up.
The 2020 Championnat de France FFSA GT - GT4 France season is the twenty-third season of the French FFSA GT Championship and the third as the French GT4 Cup, a sports car championship created and organised by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO). The season began on 21 August in Nogaro and ends on 8 November at Lédenon.

Sami Meguetounif is a French racing driver set to compete in the 2025 Formula 2 Championship with Trident. He most recently competed in the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship with the same team, finishing eighth overall. He previously competed in the Formula Regional European Championship for two seasons in 2022 and 2023 with MP Motorsport.
Esteban Masson is a Canadian-French racing driver who is the 2021 French F4 and the 2023 Eurocup-3 champion. He is set to compete in the Super Formula Lights with TOM'S. He previously competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Akkodis ASP Team in the Lexus RC F GT3 alongside José María López and Takeshi Kimura. He is part of the TGR Driver Challenge Program.
Macéo Capietto is a French racing driver is competing in the 2024 European Le Mans Series with Iron Lynx-Proton in the LMP2 class.
Hugh Barter is an Australian-Japanese racing driver who last raced in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship for Campos Racing. He previously competed in both the Spanish F4 and French F4 Championship, finishing runner-up in French F4 in 2021 and 2022 respectively as well as in the 2022 F4 Spanish Championship. In 2024, he took part in the Indian Racing League and the Indian F4 Championship.
Alessandro Giusti is a French racing driver who is set to compete in the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship with MP Motorsport. He most recently competed with ART Grand Prix in the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship, finishing fourth overall. Previously, Giusti competed in the French F4 Championship, where he was the 2022 champion.
The 2023 French F4 Championship was the 13th season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship and the sixth under the FIA Formula 4 regulations. The series began on 7 April at Circuit Paul Armagnac and concluded on 8 October at Circuit Paul Ricard. It was the first season in which the series was partnered with the ADAC Formel Junior Team.
The 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine was a multi-event, Formula Regional open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held across Europe. The championship featured a mix of professional and amateur drivers, competing in Formula Regional cars that conform to the FIA Formula Regional regulations for the championship. This was the fifth season of the championship and the third after a merger with Formula Renault Eurocup which resulted to the change of the engine supplier to Alpine.
Enzo Peugeot is a French racing driver who most recently raced in the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship with Saintéloc Racing. He was the 2023 French F4 vice-champion.
