The 2021 F4 Japanese Championship season was the seventh season of the F4 Japanese Championship. It held a total of 14 races over four double-header rounds and two triple-header rounds. [1]

Race calendar and results

All rounds were held in Japan and support the Super GT events. [1] [8] The revised calendar was published on 10 February 2021. [9] The second round of the championship at Suzuka Circuit was postponed from 29–30 May to 21–22 August due to COVID-19 pandemic. The nomenclature was kept, despite the round at Twin Ring Motegi being held in the meantime. [10] [11]

The 1995 Japanese Touring Car Championship season was the 11th edition of the series. It began at Fuji Speedway on 12 March and finished after eight events, also at Fuji Speedway on 5 November. The 2013 Japanese Championship Super Formula season was the forty-first season of premier Japanese open-wheel motor racing, and the first under the new name of Super Formula. The series was contested over six rounds and a non-championship final round at Fuji Speedway as part of the JAF Grand Prix. 2013 was also the last season using the original chassis by Swift Engineering as for 2014 Dallara would supply a new chassis, the SF14, to the series.

The 2013 Japanese Formula 3 Championship was the 35th edition of the Japanese Formula 3 Championship. It was the first Formula Three championship that accepted new FIA Formula 3 engine rules.

The 2014 Autobacs Super GT Series was the twenty-second season of the Japan Automobile Federation Super GT Championship including the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (JGTC) era, and the tenth season under the name Super GT. It marked the thirty-second season overall of a Japanese professional sportscar championship dating back to the All Japan Sports Prototype Championship. It was the first year of new GT500 regulations as the 2014 season saw unified technical regulations with the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. The season began on April 6 and ended on November 16, after 8 races.

The 2014 Japanese Formula 3 Championship was the 36th edition of the Japanese Formula 3 Championship. It was held over 7 rounds and a total of 15 races, commencing on 12 April at Suzuka and culminating on 12 October at Fuji Speedway.

The 2015 F4 Japanese Championship was the inaugural season of the F4 Japanese Championship. It began on 4 April in Okayama and finished on 15 November on Twin Ring Motegi after seven double header rounds.

The 2016 Japanese Formula 3 Championship was the 38th edition of the Japanese Formula 3 Championship.

The 2016 F4 Japanese Championship season was the second season of the F4 Japanese Championship. It began on 9 April in Okayama and finished on 13 November on Twin Ring Motegi after fourteen races held across six rounds.

The 2018 F4 Japanese Championship season was the fourth season of the F4 Japanese Championship. It began on 7 April in Okayama and finished on 11 November on Twin Ring Motegi after seven double header rounds.

The 2020 Formula Regional Japanese Championship was a multi-event, Formula 3 open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held in Japan. The drivers were competing in Formula Regional cars that conform to the FIA Formula Regional regulations for the championship. This was the inaugural season of the championship, and was promoted by K2 Planet.

The 2020 F4 Japanese Championship season was the sixth season of the F4 Japanese Championship. It was competed with 12 races over four triple-header rounds.

The 2021 Super Formula Lights Championship was the second Super Formula Lights Championship season, after the Japanese Formula 3 Championship was rebranded following the end of the 2019 season. It featured drivers competing in Formula 3 cars with Dallara 320 chassis and with engines made by three different manufacturers, a similar regulation format to the Euroformula Open Championship.

Toshiki Oyu is a Japanese racing driver for Toyota Gazoo Racing who currently competes in Super GT for Team Cerumo and in Super Formula for INGING. He was previously a factory driver for Honda until 2023.

The 2023 F4 Japanese Championship season was the ninth season of the F4 Japanese Championship. It was competed with 14 races over seven double-header rounds.

Yuga Furutani is a Japanese racing driver who most recently competed in Super GT for Anest Iwata Racing and in Super Formula Lights for TOM'S. He was the champion of the Formula Regional Japanese Championship in 2021.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">HELM Motorsports</span> Japanese racing team

HELM Motorpsorts is a racing team founded, owned by racing driver siblings Yuya and Reiji Hiraki. The team competes in the GT300 class of Super GT as well as in F4 Japanese Championship, and Formula Regional Japanese Championship. The team also competed before in Super Taikyu, and won the title in 2022.
