2024 F4 Saudi Arabian Championship

The 2024 Formula 4 Saudi Arabian Championship Certified by FIA is the inaugural season of the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship. It is a motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations. The season commenced on 14 December 2023 with a non-championship Trophy Event at Bahrain International Circuit in Bahrain. The regular season began on 1 February at Kuwait Motor Town in Kuwait and will conclude on 6 April 2024 at Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia. [1]

Calendar

Initially, the schedule consisted of twenty-four races over six rounds across four countries. The planned season opener at Bahrain International Circuit was converted into the Trophy Event round. Furthermore, the last two competitions at Jeddah Corniche Circuit were converted into three triple-headers.

    The 2022 World Touring Car Cup was the fifth and final season of the World Touring Car Cup and 18th overall of the series, which dates back to the 2005 World Touring Car Championship. The season began on 7 May at the Circuit de Pau-Ville and ended on 27 November in Jeddah Corniche Circuit, however multiple event cancellations due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and ongoing quarantine restrictions in Asia. On 1 September 2022, the organiser announced the final version of the calendar, adding Bahrain and Saudi Arabia as final venues for the 2022 season.

    The 2021 Jeddah Formula 2 round was the penultimate race of the 2021 Formula 2 Championship and occurred at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit from 3 to 5 December. It was run in support of the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and featured three races. The feature race was marred by the crash between Théo Pourchaire and Enzo Fittipaldi where both were hospitalised.
