The 2022 F4 Chinese Championship (Shell Helix FIA F4 Chinese Championship) was the eighth season of the F4 Chinese Championship. It began on 12 August at Ningbo International Circuit and ended on 11 December at Pingtan Street Circuit.

The calendar featuring 4 rounds and 14 races was announced on 18 March. [1] The revised version was published on 29 July. [2] The Pingtan round was twice postponed, and the event was finally scheduled for the second week of December.

The Chinese Grand Prix is a round of the Formula One World Championship. The event was held every year from 2004 until 2019 and is contracted to be held in 2024 and 2025. The event was contracted to take place from 2020 to 2023, however the event was cancelled each year as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic in China.

Gerrard Xie is a Hong Kong racing driver who currently competes in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship with M2 Competition. He is set to compete in the 2024 GB3 Championship for Hitech Pulse-Eight, having previously raced in the series in 2023 with Hillspeed. He was champion of the 2022 F4 Chinese Championship and the 2022 Formula Renault Super Challenge.
