2021 F4 Danish Championship

The 2021 F4 Danish Championship season was the fifth season of the F4 Danish Championship. The season began at Padborg Park in May and concluded at Jyllandsringen in October. [1]

Contents

Mads Hoe became the drivers' champion, having driven for his own team in F5 machinery.

Calendar

The first provisional calendar consisting of 5 rounds was published on 16 November 2020. [10] The next 2 competitions were announced on 2 December 2020. [11] The planned opening round at Padborg Park on 24–25 April was postponed to 15–16 May due to the pandemic restrictions and economic reasons. [12] The round at Sturup Raceway was cancelled due to the travel restrictions between Denmark and Sweden. [13]

Sturup Raceway is a motor racing circuit in Svedala, Sweden. It has been owned by the Danish Brask organisation since 2001. The circuit, by then called Sturupsbanan, opened in 1972 as a Rallycross venue. Later named Skånecrossbanan it was first asphalted to become a permanent road course in 1990. In 2004 and 2005 major work including a track extension from 1.100 km (0.684 mi) to 2.133 km (1.325 mi) with a new pit lane.

The 2017 ADAC Formula 4 Championship was the third season of the ADAC Formula 4. It began on 29 April at Oschersleben and finished on 24 September at Hockenheim after seven triple header rounds.

The 2023 F4 Danish Championship season is the seventh season of the F4 Danish Championship. The season began at Padborg Park in April and conclude at Jyllandsringen in October. This was the last season of the championship running under the Formula 4 moniker as it was rebranded to the Nordic 4 Championship.

The 2023 Formula Nordic season was the eleventh season of the Swedish-based single-seater championship, and the fifth independent of the STCC branding, following the formation of the series' association in the wake of the STCC promoter's bankruptcy in 2018. Formula Nordic continues to use the previous Formula Renault 1.6 chassis and engines, as it used to go under the name of Formula Renault 1.6 Nordic before Renault Sport dropped its support for the 3.5 and 1.6 classes in late 2015. The season began on 6 May at Mantorp Park, and concluded on 1 October at Jyllands-Ringen after 17 races held over seven rounds. This was the third season with Yokohama as the series' tyre supplier.

The 2024 Nordic 4 Championship season is the eighth season of the F4 Danish Championship. The season begins at Padborg Park in April and conclude at Jyllandsringen in October. This is the first season of the championship running under the new Nordic 4 banner as FIA had restricted the use of the Formula 4 name.
