2024 Formula 4 CEZ Championship

The 2024 Formula 4 CEZ Championship will be the second season of the Formula 4 CEZ Championship, a motor racing series for the Central Europe regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations, and organised and promoted by the Automobile Club of the Czech Republic (ACCR), Krenek Motorsport and HM Sports. [1]

Contents

The season will commence on 27 April at Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary and will conclude on 22 September at Salzburgring in Austria. [2]

Race calendar and results

The provisional calendar featuring six round across five countries was published on 17 September 2023. All rounds, except for the Slovakia Ring one supporting the European Truck Racing Championship, are a part of the ESET Cup package. [18] The revised version was released on 22 November 2023. The opening round at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben on 5–7 April was cancelled and replaced by Salzburgring on 21–22 September. Balaton Park Circuit was chosen as the venue of the Hungarian and became the new season opener. [2] In January 2023, the round at Red Bull Ring was expanded to three races. [19]

  1. 1 2 Kutskov is Russian, but competes as a neutral athlete as Russian national emblems were banned by the FIA following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. For the same reason Popov competes under an Italian license.

The 2022 ACCR Formula 4 Trophy was a motor racing series held in the Central and Eastern Europe, competed over four rounds. The full six rounds schedule was supposed to be the first season of the ACCR Formula 4 Championship organized by the Automobile Club of the Czech Republic. The season was supposed to start with its first round taking place at the Hungaroring in April and with the final round taking place at Brno Circuit in September. After many calendar changes caused by massive delivery delays, it was announced on 6 July that the start of the championship as an FIA Formula 4 Championship would be postponed to 2023 and that only the last three original rounds would be held as a trophy series. The series uses Tatuus F4-T-421 chassis primarily, although Tatuus F4-T014 was eligible for the Trophy class.

Balaton Park Circuit is a 4.115 km (2.557 mi) motor racing circuit located near Balatonfőkajár, Hungary, 85 km (53 mi) southwest of Budapest. The track is designed to host regional and international races. The circuit was opened in May 2023.

The 2024 Italian F4 Championship will be the eleventh season of the Italian F4 Championship.

The 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is a planned multi-event, Formula Regional open-wheel single seater motor racing championship to be held across Europe. The championship will feature a mix of professional and amateur drivers, competing in Formula Regional cars that conform to the FIA Formula Regional regulations for the championship. This will be the sixth season of the championship and the fourth after a merger with Formula Renault Eurocup which resulted to the change of the engine supplier to Alpine.

The 2024 Formula Winter Series was the second season of the Formula Winter Series. It is a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations, based in Spain.
