FIA Formula 4, also called FIA F4, is an open-wheel racing car category intended for junior drivers. There is no global championship, but rather individual nations or regions can host their own championships in compliance with a universal set of rules and specifications.

Starting in 2020 the champion will win a scholarship to compete in Indy Lights. The F3 Americas Championship updated its name to Formula Regional Americas Championship Powered by Honda in 2020.

Carl Wattana Bennett is a Thai-American race car driver who’s currently competes in the European Le Mans Series for Cool Racing. He previously competed for Isotta Fraschini in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Having raced in various Formula 4 series as well as Eurocup-3, Bennett switched to endurance racing in 2023, achieving an overall podium in the Asian Le Mans Series in LMP2 before progressing to Hypercar, the top class of WEC.
The 2024 Ligier JS F4 Series is the inaugural season of the Ligier JS F4 Series.
