Bharatiya Navshakti Party (Indian New Force Party), was a political party in India. BNP was active in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and the Adivasi areas in southern and central Gujarat. BNP was led by the Lok Sabha MP from Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Delkar Mohanbhai Sanjibhai.

Before launching BNP, Delkar had been involved in the formation of the Indian Federal Democratic Party together with the infamous Pappu Yadav.

In 2000 BNP contested the panchayat elections in Dadra and Nagar Haveli together with the Indian National Congress. The BNP-Congress combine won 10 of 12 seats in the governing body and 2/3 of all village councils.

In the 2004 Lok Sabha elections Delkar won as the candidate in the Dadra and Nagar Haveli seat. The party provides outside support to the UPA government at the centre.

The party was merged with Indian National Congress before 2009 General Election.

He is the father of politician Anil Sharma and grandfather of actor Aayush Sharma. In 2011 he was sentenced to 5 years in jail for corruption when he was Communications Minister in 1996.

Mohan Sanjibhai Delkar was an Indian politician and tribal rights advocate, who was elected seven times as a member of Lok Sabha from Dadra and Nagar Haveli constituency, in the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. He had been part of Indian National Congress (INC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal (United) (JDU) at various times, and had also founded his own party Bharatiya Navshakti Party for some period.

Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu is a union territory in India. The territory was constituted through the merger of the former territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Plans for the proposed merger were announced by the Government of India in July 2019; the necessary legislation was passed in the Parliament of India in December 2019 and came into effect on 26 January 2020. The territory is made up of four separate geographical entities: Dadra, Nagar Haveli, Daman, and the island of Diu. All four areas were formerly part of Portuguese India, with a joint capital at Panjim, Goa. They came under Indian rule in the mid-20th century after the Annexation of Goa. These were jointly administered as Goa, Daman and Diu until 1987, when Goa was granted statehood after the Konkani language agitation. The current capital is Daman and Silvassa is the largest city.

Vinoba Bhave Institute of Medical Sciences / NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute is a government medical college located in Silvassa in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. The union government allocated the fund of 189 crore for its construction. The foundation stone was laid by the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi on 19 January 2019, and the first undergraduate batch commenced on 15 August 2019.

SSR College of Education is a Teacher Training college located in Silvassa in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. The late Mohanbhai Sanjibhai Delkar Lok Sabha MP established the college as one of four colleges in the SSR Memorial Trust including the SSR College of Arts, Science and Commerce. The foundation stone was laid by the Mohanbhai Sanjibhai Delkar in 2003.

SSR Institute of Management and Research is a Management education college located in Silvassa in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. The late Mohanbhai Sanjibhai Delkar Lok Sabha MP established the college as one of four colleges in the SSR Memorial Trust including the SSR College of Arts, Science and Commerce. The foundation stone was laid by the Mohanbhai Sanjibhai Delkar in 2003.

Kalaben Mohanbhai Delkar is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament from Dadra and Nagar Haveli parliamentary constituency in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. She is the first woman Member of Parliament from Dadra and Nagar Haveli as well as the first Shiv Sena MP outside Maharastra.
