Cornelius Bello

Cornelius S S Bello [1] was an Anglican bishop in Nigeria: [2] he was the Bishop of Zaria, [3] one of ten dioceses within the Anglican Province of Kaduna, itself one of 14 provinces within the Church of Nigeria. [4]

He was Bishop of Zaria until 2017 when he retired and was replaced by Abiodun Ogunyemi. [5]

Josiah Atkins Idowu-Fearon is a Nigerian Anglican bishop. Since 2015, he has been Secretary General of the Anglican Consultative Council. He was previously the Bishop of Kaduna diocese and the Archbishop of the Province of Kaduna in the Church of Nigeria.

The Anglican Province of Kaduna is one of the 14 ecclesiastical provinces of the Church of Nigeria. The first archbishop was Josiah Idowu-Fearon, from 2002 to 2008. The current archbishop is Timothy Yahaya, bishop of Kaduna, since 27 August, 2023.

Egba Diocese, Church of Nigeria is one of 13 within the Anglican Province of Lagos, itself one of 14 provinces within the Church of Nigeria. The current bishop is Emmanuel Adekunle. Jonathan S. Adeniyi was the pioneer Bishop of Egba Diocese when it was created in 1976. On his retirement aged 70 in 1979, he was succeeded by Titus Ilori Akintayo, who served from 1980 until 1994. On his retirement, he was in turn succeeded by Matthew Oluremi Owadayo. Adekunle has been the Bishop since 2009.

Gabriel Akinbolarin Akinbiyi was born on the 5th of December, 1949.He married Mrs Stella A Akinbiyi about 34 years ago in 1956-1961, he went to St John's Anglican school oke Igbo and later on went to local authority modern school oke Igbo, during 1962-1964. Afterwards he went to diocesan training centre, wusasa Zaria (D.T.C) in 1975-1976. he was the Bishop of Akoko in the Anglican province of Ondo in the Church of Nigeria until 2019.

The current Archbishop of Niger Delta Province & Bishop of Niger Delta North is Wisdom Budu Ihunwo, who was consecrated a bishop on June 3, 2018, at All Saints' Cathedral, Onitsha.
