The Court at 638-650 North Mar Vista Avenue is a bungalow court located at 638-650 North Mar Vista Avenue in Pasadena, California. Owner Karl Valentine built the court in 1927. The court consists of four single-family houses arranged alongside a courtyard with a duplex at the rear of the property. The buildings are designed in the Colonial Revival style and feature classical entrance porticos and wide eaves with exposed rafter tails. [2]

The court was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 15, 1994. [1]

The Mexican War Streets, originally known as the "Buena Vista Tract", is a historic district in the Central Northside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The district is densely filled with restored row houses, community gardens, and tree-lined streets and alleyways. The area dates to around the time of the Mexican–American War. The 27-acre (11 ha) district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 with 119 buildings deemed to contribute to the historic character of the district. In 2008, the district's listing was increased to include an additional 288 contributing buildings over a 25.7-acre (10.4 ha) area. As of 2020, the historic district has been expanded, with restrictions on facade remodels.

J. M. Bonney House United States historic place

The J. M. Bonney House, also known as the Josiah Morris Bonney House, is an historic Carpenter Gothic house located at 408 Princeton Avenue in Buena Vista, Chaffee County, Colorado. Built in 1883, it was named for Josiah Morris Bonney, who founded the First National Bank of Buena Vista, whose building at 210 East Main Street built the same year, was listed on the Colorado State Register August 9, 2000, and is now the Buena Vista Town Hall. The Bonney house is a good example of the more ornate period of Carpenter Gothic architecture and has been well preserved. On December 19, 1994, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The court consists of five one-story bungalows arranged around a central courtyard. The houses are designed in a blend of the Colonial Revival and American Craftsman styles; the former can be seen in the entrance porticos on three of the buildings, while the latter is present in the homes' overhanging eaves and exposed rafter tails. Owner Karl Valentine designed and built the court in 1924–25.

The court consists of six buildings; five two-unit homes are arranged around a central courtyard, while a single one-unit home is located in a rear corner. The court's layout features multiple tiers separated by steps, an uncommon design for a bungalow court. The houses have a vernacular Spanish-influenced design with stucco walls, clay tile roofs, and wrought iron light fixtures.

The Court at 533-549 North Lincoln Avenue is a bungalow court located at 533-549 North Lincoln Avenue in Pasadena, California. The court consists of four bungalows surrounding a central courtyard and driveway. The bungalows have an American Craftsman design and feature gabled roofs with exposed rafter tails, casement windows, and porches supported by Doric columns. T. G. Grabham, the original owner of the court, built the four homes between 1922 and 1925. Architect G. Tombelson designed the first two homes, which were both built in 1922; contractors Whitescarver & Pieton added the third home in 1923, and contractor Joseph G. Roth built the last in 1925.

Alta Vista–Camp Fornance–Newman Park Historic District United States historic place

The Alta Vista–Camp Fornance–Newman Park Historic District, is a predominantly residential historic district in northwestern Columbia, South Carolina. It encompasses much of the neighborhood of Earlewood, and is formed out of three separate subdivisions that were developed as streetcar suburbs in the early 20th century. The district is about 225 acres (91 ha) in size, and has more than 550 residences, many in architectural styles popular in the first half of the 20th century. It is roughly bounded on the east and south by the tracks of the Seaboard Air Line, the north by Earlewood Park and Lakewood Avenue, and the northwest by Darlington Avenue.
