Daksum Is a natural scenic spot located in the Larnoo tehsil of Anantnag district, Jammu and Kashmir, at Anantnag-Semthan-Kishtwar road (NH-244).
It is located at an altitude of 2,438m above the sea level.Coordinates: 33°36'43"N 75°26'6"E. It is 42 km from the district headquarters Anantnag and about 100 km from summer capital Srinagar, on the trekking route to Kishtwar. On the way to Daksum there is Botanical garden and spring called Kokernag one can enjoy. .One can reach Daksum by arriving vailoo, which is the base camp and from there one can board a cab.From there the trail leads to Sinthan Pass and Sinthan top.
Anantnag district is an administrative district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir in the disputed Kashmir region. It is one of ten districts which make up the Kashmir Valley. Sinthan Top is a mountain pass, a popular tourist destination located in Kishtwar district and borders with South Kashmir's Breng Valley of Anantnag district in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Majority of the area lies on the Kishtwar side. The top acts as a sort of base camp to several alpine lakes in the region.

The Bringhi or Brengi river is a river in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It flows for a total of 30 kilometres (19 mi) before feeding Jhelum River at Haji Danter, Anantnag. It is formed by the confluence of three streams Nowbugh stream, Ahlan Gadol Stream, and Daksum Stream. Nowbugh Stream originates from the glaciers of Margan Top, Daksum Stream originates from the glaciers of Sinthan in Anantnag district. The river passes through a gorge at Daksum. Kokernag is in the Bringhi river valley. It is one of the tributary of river Jhelum. Sir Walter Lawrence wrote in his book The Valley of Kashmir that the brang river which disappears at Dewalgam village in the fissures of the limestone is the real source of the Achabal spring. Recently a sink hole appeared in the river at wandevelgam which sucked in the whole flow of the water. This is the second time a sink hole has appeared in this river.
Thathri is a town and a notified area committee in Doda district in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Thathri valley is located in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains, about 85 km from Batote. Apart from having ample forests, the town contains many small streams flowing through its various parts. It is located on the banks of the Chenab River and the town area is spread over 1.50 sq. Km².
Kumar Mohalla is a part of Akingam village in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir and a part of tehsil Akingam. It is one of the most prominent tourist spots in Anantnag and is located 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from the town of Anantnag and 77 kilometres (48 mi) from Srinagar on the route to Pahalgam. The Aishmuqam shrine is located in Aishmuqam.
Saraz or Siraj is a hilly region in the eastern part of the Jammu division of Jammu and Kashmir in northern India. Historically a pargana within the erstwhile state of Kishtwar, the region currently takes up the northern half of Doda district and parts of neighbouring Ramban and Kishtwar districts. Its population in 2011 stood at 180,000 people. The region is defined mainly on the basis of linguistics where the majority of people speak Sarazi as their mother tongue.

Bhandarkoot is known for Bhandarkoot Ziyarat, a holy shrine of Hazrat Sheikh Zain-ud-din Rishi. At Bhandarkoot is the junction of the Marusudar, a river tributary which joins the Chenab river at this place.
Mughal Maidan is a tehsil in the Kishtwar district of the Jammu and Kashmir union territory, India. It is situated about 22 kilometers from the town of Kishtwar and lies on the banks of the Chatroo river.
