Samuel Jackson Snead was an American professional golfer who was one of the top players in the world for the better part of four decades and widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. Snead was awarded a record 94 gold medallions, for wins in PGA of America Tour events and later credited with winning a record 82 PGA Tour events, including seven majors. He never won the U.S. Open, though he was runner-up four times. Snead was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974.

It protects over 921,000 acres of federally owned land within a 1,700,000 acres proclamation boundary that includes much of the Potomac Highlands Region and portions of 10 counties.
The George Washington and Jefferson National Forests is an administrative entity combining two U.S. National Forests into one of the largest areas of public land in the Eastern United States. The forests cover 1.8 million acres (7,300 km2) of land in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, West Virginia, and Kentucky. Approximately 1 million acres (4,000 km2) of the forest are remote and undeveloped and 139,461 acres (564 km2) have been designated as wilderness areas, which eliminates future development.
Carolina Forest is an unincorporated community in Horry County, South Carolina, United States. It is located west of Myrtle Beach and east of Conway in an area planned by International Paper in the late 1990s. Most of the development follows the Carolina Forest Master Plan, developed cooperatively between International Paper and the Horry County Government.
Blackwater Falls State Park is located in the Allegheny Mountains of Tucker County, West Virginia, USA. The centerpiece of the park is Blackwater Falls, a 62-foot (19 m) cascade where the Blackwater River leaves its leisurely course in Canaan Valley and enters rugged Blackwater Canyon. It is among the most photographed venues in the state and appears on calendars, stationery, and advertisements. The river is named for its tannin-darkened water.

Dorsey's Search is a parcel of land patented by John Dorsey of Hockley-in-the-hole (1645–1714) in Baltimore County. The 479-acre (194 ha) property adjacent to the north branch of the Patuxent river was surveyed by Richard Beard in December 1684, and granted to Dorsey in March 1696. The property lying between "Long Reach" and "Elk Ridge" was resurveyed in March 1723 to include 750 acres (300 ha). After several generations of inheritance, a series of legal disputes were held over the land by Rezin Hammond and Richard Ridgley in 1820. In 1827 the property exchanged hands to Robert Oliver, builder of Oakland Mill, who combined it with multiple properties totaling 2,300 acres (930 ha). George Gaither acquired the property in 1838. John Dorsey's grandson, "Patuxent" John Dorsey of "Dorsey's Search" built Dorsey Hall at the site.
Big Ditch Wildlife Management Area is a protected area located in Webster County, West Virginia near the town of Cowen. The WMA is 388 acres (157 ha) in size and is centered on Big Ditch Lake, a 55-acre (22 ha) man-made reservoir.

Green Acres is a neighborhood in Northwest Visalia that is bordered by Downtown Visalia on the east, the Sequoia Freeway on the south, Demaree on the west, and Goshen Avenue on the north. Main Street is the area's principal thoroughfare which divides Green Acres into north and south sections. However, Green Acres can be recognized by the large amount of Valley Oak trees that crowd the banks of Mill Creek Mill_Creek_(Tulare_County). The Visalia Country Club anchors the neighborhood. The Archeological Site No. 44JC308 is a historic archaeological site located near Williamsburg, Virginia. The site encompasses a Paspahegh Native American Village (44JC308) that is currently occupied by the Two Rivers Country Club 18th fairway and green. Archeological findings suggest that the Paspahegh village was established sometime after 1500 AD and occupied during the period of sustained contact between Europeans and native peoples following the establishment of the English settlement at Jamestown in 1607.
Fairway Shops is an outdoor shopping mall located in Ka'anapali, a neighborhood of Lahaina, Hawaii. The stretch of shops was completed in 2001 and encompasses approximately 34,980 square feet (3,200 m2) of retail space over three acres of land. The land of the center is owned by Gutman Realty LLC and managed by Colliers International. Of the tenants that occupy the complex, a majority of them are small businesses and local companies; a local urgent care center has since opened at the property.
The Colombo South Waste Processing Facility is a municipal solid waste-fired thermal power station currently under construction at a 10-acre (40,000 m2) site in Karadiyana, Sri Lanka. Together with the KCHT Power Station, it is one of two projects that won the bid by the Urban Development Authority, from a pool of 121 bidders. Construction of the facility began on 23 August 2017 with a completion slated for mid-2019. The estimated cost of the project is approximately US$91 million.
