Opened in 1931 as the Gray Coach Terminal, the Art Deco style structure was the main hub for Gray Coach, an interurban coach service then owned by the Toronto Transportation Commission (TTC). It replaced an earlier open air depot, the Union Coach Terminal.

The Downtown Terminal is a Brampton Transit bus station serving the central area of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. It is located a block north of the intersection of Main Street and Queen Street, the two main streets in downtown. There is direct access to Via Rail and GO Transit trains at the adjoining Brampton GO Station. Municipal and private-sector partnerships funded this facility and built a six-storey office building above the transit terminal. A portion of the ground level of the building accommodates ticket sales and a heated waiting room.

The main entrance faces the intersection of Quebec Street and Wyndham Street at St. Georges Square. Old Quebec Street Shoppes stands where Quebec Street originally extended east of Wyndham Street. The back entrance of the building leads out onto Woolwich Street next to the Sleeman Centre.

The terminal consists of a single-storey structure situated at the intersection between the Kingsway, a major east-west arterial road in Sudbury, 2nd Avenue North, which leads south toward the residential neighbourhood of Minnow Lake, and Falconbridge Road, which leads northeast toward Garson. It lies to the east of Downtown Sudbury, close to the Southeast Bypass.
