India First is an English-language news weekly published from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. [1] The news weekly was launched in 2004 by journalists Sourav Mishra, Satya Nayak, Shubhanker Behera promoted by business person Sanjay Hans. Entrepreneurial English Publications [2] Mishra, Nayak and Behera left the venture within a year after a successful launch. [3]

Sourav Mishra is an Indian journalist and artist. As a Reuters journalist he was one of the first witnesses and victim of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, a three-day rampage in which more than 164 people lost their lives. Mishra was with friends at Leopold Café when the terrorists opened fire on 26 November 2008. The café, a popular joint in South Mumbai, was one of the first locations to be targeted by the gunmen. Mishra received severe bullet injuries below his left shoulder and was taken to St. George's Hospital before being moved to a private hospital. His name also appeared in the state government's initial list of the dead, which was later withdrawn.

The National Herald is an Indian newspaper published by The Associated Journals Ltd and owned by Young India Limited a company by Indian National Congress. It was founded by India's first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru in 1938 as a tool to win independence. It was banned by British government in 1942 during the Quit India movement. To Aganara Tulasi Mun is an Indian Odia language Soap opera aired on Zee Sarthak. It premiered on 3 July 2013 and ended on 16 March 2019. It is the longest ran Odia soap opera with 1,839 episodes.

FactorDaily is an Indian digital media publication founded in 2016 by Pankaj Mishra and Jayadevan PK. Mishra was formerly an Editor at TechCrunch and the Economic Times. The digital publication was launched with an intent to produce stories on the impact of technology on life in India.
