Vaartha is a Telugu newspaper headquartered in Hyderabad, India. [1] Vaartha means "news" in Telugu.

History

Vaartha was launched in 1996 [2] with A.B.K Prasad as its first editor. It claimed to be the first Telugu daily in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to use Information Technology, [ citation needed ] allowing it to publish news that broke at as late as 4 a.m. Vaartha was initially popular, competing with Eenadu and Udayam .[ citation needed ] It now has a smaller circulation than Eenadu, Sakshi or Andhra Jyothy.[ citation needed ]Vaartha is produced by A.G.A Publications, which is owned by Gireesh Kumar Sanghi's Hyderabad-based Sanghi Group.

Andhra Prabha - Journalism first is a Telugu language daily newspaper of India sold mostly in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The newspaper is one of the oldest running Telugu-language daily newspapers of India. The newspaper and website (www.prabhanews.com) were owned by the New Indian Express Group of Companies but the newspaper was sold to entrepreneurs from Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The newspaper is owned by Mootha Gopalakrishna, former M.L.A of Kakinada city. The newspaper publishes neutral news not in support of any political organisation and is the one of the most balanced and close-to-reality Telugu language daily newspapers.

Gireesh Kumar Sanghi is an industrialist and politician. He was a Member of the Parliament of India for the Indian National Congress party representing Andhra Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of Parliament.

Andhra Patrika was the weekly newspaper of the nationalist movement in the Telugu speaking region founded by Kasinadhuni Nageswara Rao in 1908. It later transformed into a daily newspaper before it closed down in 1991. It helped to shape both modern Telugu language and an identity that resulted in the creation of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Panchathantram is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language film written and directed by Harsha Pulipaka, and produced by Ticket Factory and S Originals. The star cast of the film Brahmanandam, Swathi Reddy, Samuthirakani, Naresh Agatsya, Sri Vidya Maharshi, Rahul Vijay, Shivathmika Rajashekar, Divyavani, DivyaSripada, Vikas, Praanya P Rao, Aadarsh Balakrishna and Uttej. The music was composed by Prashanth R Vihari and Shravan Bharadwaj.
