Metro India is an English-language daily newspaper being published in Hyderabad, Telangana. It is available in the Indian State of Telangana. [1]
The newspaper was founded in 2013 by CL Rajam who previously launched a Telugu daily newspaper, Namasthe Telangana . [2] After the formation of Telangana State, he bequeathed Namasthe Telangana and started the daily under Intercontinental Digital Pvt ltd. [3]
The news paper publishes editions for Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar and other parts of Telangana. [4]
Telangana is a state in India situated in the southern-central part of the Indian peninsula on the high Deccan Plateau. It was the eleventh largest state and the twelfth most populated state in India as per the 2011 census. On 2 June 2014, the area was separated from the northwestern part of United Andhra Pradesh as the newly formed state of Telangana, with Hyderabad as its capital. There are also many apartments and residential areas, particularly in the small neighbourhood of Yapral.

Prajasakti, also spelled as Prajashakti, is a Telugu newspaper that is published in Andhra Pradesh, India by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI (M)]. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani is a distinguished academician, public intellectual, and the first (founder) Chairman (2014–2020) of Telangana State Public Service Commission.He was also known as a journalist, writer, public speaker, policy expert and political analyst. At present, he is working as a senior professor of Sociology and director, Academic at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad. Associated with people's movements, democratic movements, and rights movements, he became a public intellectual in the region. Since the Bhuvanagiri meeting in 1997, he has been directly associated with the Telangana separate statehood movement and emerged as one of the protagonists of the Telangana agitation, as a writer, public speaker, columnist, and television analyst, he played multiple roles in the spread of Telangana ideology. He is one of the founders of the Peace Initiative Committee, which negotiated with the government and Maoist Naxalites for peace talks in 2004–05. During the talks, the Government of Andhra Pradesh (AP) appointed him as the convenor for the Cease-Fire Monitoring Committee. After the formation of a separate state for Telangana, the government of Telangana appointed Dr. Chakrapani as the first Chairman of TSPSC. The paper aims to mainly focus on politics and developments of Telangana State. The newspaper is published by Telangana Publications Pvt. Limited, owned by K. Chandrashekar Rao, the former chief minister of Telangana.
